Fidel Castro was a symbol of the struggle for justice in the shadow of empire. Presente!
The verb form of the word literally means "present." The way Stein used it was something like a military salute ("present arms!") but for Latin American leftist radicals.
back to recount
She needs all three states to reverse the counts and have the Crook take the WH. Flip about 100,000 votes :a20:

Why would Hillary Clinton—who conceded the election to Donald Trump—want #Recount2016? You cannot be on-again, off-again about democracy.
@DrJillStein
Why would Hillary Clinton—who holds "public" and "private" positions—want to engage in something as transparent as #Recount2016?

Jill Stein’s recount is slipping into the bizarre.
It’s Liberals’ last chance to overthrow Trump’s historic win.
So all the crazies are joining forces.
One problem: The crazy Liberals don’t seem to like each other.
The Gateway Pundit reported that Hillary people are joining the recount:
Hillary Camp to Join Jill Stein in Recount Efforts—
Hillary Clinton’s lawyer for her presidential campaign published a statement Saturday morning to Medium that the Clinton campaign will be joining the efforts by Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein in seeking to overturn the election of Donald Trump as president by seeking recounts in key battleground states.
Marc E. Elias wrote that the Clinton campaign had been intensively investigating the election results for evidence that could be used to deny Trump the presidency without success and had not planned on seeking recounts.
However, with Stein taking the lead in seeking recounts, Elias stated Clinton will join the recount effort in Wisconsin since Stein officially filed for the recount on Friday.
Except Jill Stein doesn’t want Hillary’s help.
Stein took to Twitter and put out these tweets:
Ouch!
No love lost between Jill Stein and Hillary!
And just for good measure, Jill Stein threw out some Communist language. Just so everyone would remember she’s still a Communist, maybe?
✔
@DrJillStein
Election integrity cannot be led by a party w/o integrity, just as a revolution cannot happen in a counterrevolutionary party. #Recount2016
Yikes!
Liberals have some serious problems if they’re counting on Jill Stein and Hillary to work together on a recount.
You can’t make this stuff up!
other comments
The whole recount is so bizarre. Clintons own team admitted they have been over the results with a fine toothed comb and found nothing.
Even Obama's White House says NO HACKING TOOK PLACE.
"He said that ultimately the campaign found no “actionable evidence of hacking or outside attempts to alter the voting technology.”
The purpose of this recount is not to change the results, it won't, but to blunt Trump's momentum going into the inauguration.
The curious thing is that the "professors and lawyers" hired by Stein accusing election fraud and hacking in WI have provided NO PROOF of such.
On Fox’s Special Report, Charles Krauthammer called this whole thing “really weird” and “absurd,” saying while there’s no evidence of tampering here, it just so happens to be an easy way to raise money.
“It’s a neat trick,” he said, “but rather unseemly.”
Washington Post reporter Karen Tumulty found it “astonishing” that people would be opening their checkbooks for this, while Lisa Boothe said Stein is just doing this to “escalate her own name.”
last but not least Trump added
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump
The Green Party scam to fill up their coffers by asking for impossible recounts is now being joined by the badly defeated & demoralized Dems
The Democrats, when they incorrectly thought they were going to win, asked that the election night tabulation be accepted. Not so anymore!

Trump tweeting now
Hillary Clinton conceded the election when she called me just prior to the victory speech and after the results were in. Nothing will change
Hillary's debate answer on delay: "That is horrifying. That is not the way our democracy works. Been around for 240 years. We've had free and fair elections. We've accepted the outcomes when we may not have liked them, and that is what must be expected of anyone standing on a during a general election.
I, (HRC) for one, am appalled that somebody that is the nominee of one of our two major parties would take that kind of position."
Then, separately she stated, "He said something truly horrifying ... he refused to say that he would respect the results of this election.
That is a direct threat to our democracy." She then said, "We have to accept the results and look to the future.
HRC Trump is going to be our President. We owe him an open mind and the chance to lead."

If you recall when the Clinton's left the White House after George W win the Clinton staff did all sorts of mischief to frustrate the incoming Administration including removing the "W"from all of the typewriters.
The Clintons and now the progressives in general have never been generous, graceful or civil.
When George W left the White House he made a pledge, one he honored to stay silent about the incoming Administration save to support the Administration when called upon.
We now have that same Administration (Obama) leaving and they are not leaving quietly or gracefully. I guess liberal intellectual elites lack class and manners.

From Politico:
"The Obama administration said it has seen no evidence of hackers tampering with the 2016 presidential election, even as recount proceedings began in Wisconsin.
“We stand behind our election results, which accurately reflect the will of the American people,” a senior administration official told POLITICO late Friday.
“The federal government did not observe any increased level of malicious cyber activity aimed at disrupting our electoral process on election day,” the official added. “We believe our elections were free and fair from a cybersecurity perspective.”
In other words, Hillary Clinton's dreams of being president just took an even bigger blow. And from the administration that promoted and defended her White House run. Ouch."

Trump calls Obama every day to find out what to do when he becomes president. Yesterday they spoke for 45 minutes.
This is the same Trump who lied for five years about the president's birthplace.
If I were Obama the conversation would go like this: Hi Donald, I was just walking out the door to go play golf, good-bye.
Or the other choice would be to give Trump totally bogus information every time he calls.

Oops. Jill Stein forgot to mention to her donors that she cannot file a direct request for a recount in Pennsylvania.
She intimated she could just file a request looks like a big scam to fill her coffers for next election cycle, who know she may double her votes that would be less than 2% of the pop vote
Stein would have to present a case showing voter fraud took place.
Per Pennsylvania regulations, there is only one way remaining for Jill Stein to get a recount in Pennsylvania and it is a complicated process. Billy Penn reports that Stein would have to file for a court appeal and present a “prima facie case” showing that voter fraud took place. While prima facie has a lower burden of proof threshold than “beyond reasonable doubt,” it is still significant. Stein would have to prove in court that fraud was “probable.” This is going to be very difficult given that even the computer specialists recommending the recount say there is no proof of hacking or fraud.
In fact, the Medium reports that Clinton’s own legal team headed by Marc Elias has noted that Clinton’s team “had not uncovered any actionable evidence of hacking or outside attempts to alter the voting technology.” The Obama administration echoed that by stating that the government did not observe any increased level of malicious cyber-activity aimed at disrupting our electoral process on election day. According to Newsmax, Obama is standing behind the results which indicate that Trump won the election, saying the election was “free and fair from a cybersecurity perspective.”
Elias also noted that in even the closest margin state, Michigan, Trump’s win “well exceeds the largest margin ever overcome in a recount.” Therefore, Elias says that is why Clinton herself did not pursue a recount effort. However, since Stein has funded and initiated the effort, Elias says that Clinton will participate to ensure fairness.
Jill Stein would have to present evidence of fraud or systematic error in every MI county to initiate a statewide recount. It's a pipe dream

PA is the most difficult to do a recount, Stein just found out after scamming 6.5 million
Pennsylvania may have the highest hurdles to a recount. For one, it’s the only state in which candidates can’t file direct requests -- they can only file a legal appeal that would be decided by the court.
So instead, Stein and the Green Party plan to join a voter-initiated recount in Pennsylvania. Stein has come up with the $500,000 she needs for this effort, but as it turns out, that was the easy part.
As she points out in a video appeal on her website, Pennsylvania is “especially complicated,” in that it “is the only state in which the recount process has to be initiated by actually thousands of voters.”
In Pennsylvania, a statewide recount can occur if at least three voters per precinct or election district submit affadavits. There were some 9,175 election districts in Pennsylvania as of June, 2015, according to Citizens for Election Integrity (CEI), a group which advocates for accuracy in elections. In her video, Stein makes a plea for volunteers from each district to file these affadavits, and she walks through the steps necessary to file the paperwork. There’s downloading the affadavit from her website, and filling it out -- did you vote on an optical scanner or electronic touchscreen, she asks, explaining the difference between the two machines.
After all of this, she warns the volunteer voters not to sign their affadavits until they’re in the presence of a notary public. And afterwards, they’ll have to submit their affadavits to the clerk in their individual election districts.
That’s not all -- the deadline varies from district to district, Stein notes in her video. It could be Monday or it could be Tuesday, Stein says, and in some districts, “the deadline has already passed.” As she talks through all the steps, it’s evident that she knows that she’s asking for a lot, and the odds are long for a statewide recount -- over 27,000 individual voters in these precincts in every corner of Pennsylvania would have to follow these instructions perfectly, notwithstanding the districts where the deadline has already come and gone (but there aren’t many of those, she said).
There would have been an automatic recount triggered in Pennsylvania if the margin of victory had been 0.5 percent or less. In fact, though, in the three states in which Stein is pursuing recounts, Donald Trump had the largest margin of victory in Pennsylvania -- 70,638 votes (a 1.17-percentage-point difference) -- according to the results published by Pennsylvania’s secretary of state.
Why I don't get if the deadline passed the whole PA thing is lost?

From your response, I surmise that we have real differences about effective governing. I look at most of the operation of government as not that much different than running a business. You "hire" a good, effective leader that then hires well qualified, experienced personnel to carry out their directives. The leader him/herself does not have to be all-knowing, they just have to know how to utilize the people they hire effectively and be able to bring people together to work as a team through discussion of ideas, negotiation, and the like. IMO that's why having so many lawyers in Washington has ruined the ability to govern properly....... no leadership skills.
Knowing how things operate and knowing how to work with people are 2 very different things. You can LEARN how things operate; not so much the leadership skills. Some of it can be learned, but much of it is part of one's make-up. Look at Obama - classic example of failed leadership.

I wonder if it would be a good idea for Trump to offer to pay for the recount? He could state something like "he believes the original count was done by qualified and competent people", "But, certainly everyone could use some additional wages with Christmas just around the corner" and then tell Stein "she should refund the people that she took money from to finance the recount, as they could better use the money towards Christmas and their families.
I don't believe for a moment that Trump's winning of the election will change from the recount, but it will quiet some of the masses, and could provide Trump an opportunity to be the better person for the people that counted the ballots in the first place.

If she knowingly received money knowing the deadlines couldn't be realistically met in PA and yesterday filed a motion to extend time to file the request from 9,000 districts (another unrealistic goal).
assuming the court will not extend that time to file what is going to happen with the unused monies collected.

So, the "legal system" is messed up...and it's her fault?
You KNOW there is corruption in our voting system, why else would they want to ban ID requirements? Make it electronic with no way to identify vote to voter? That's like banning ID requirements at liquor stores and expecting the kids will obey the law.

Jill Stein has a level head about her…or so most people think. She attributes this to minimal exposure to Wi-Fi signals, but it likely has something to do with how successful she’s been at raising funds lately. Even through media inquiries questioning her intentions, she keeps on keeping on with the voter recount effort. Having been on the wrong side of several recounts where she has lost by tens of millions of votes, Stein understands how important it is that every vote is counted, in hand, by a starving artist, spending no less than 10 seconds looking at each one. That’s no easy task…and it doesn’t come cheap.
I was able to catch up with Dr. Stein on her new yacht for what turned out to be an interview I would never forget. Her 155-foot yacht, christened with the name of Fidel, is a beautiful vessel with an unquestionably luxurious feel. I was led by Susan Sarandon to a very cozy room that appeared to be some kind of salon, where I sat down in a recliner, roughly 5 feet from Dr. Stein to begin the interview. I soon became frustrated by her freshly hired assistants (some college boys from Cuba) as they were regularly in the way while giving her a mani-pedi.
The interview seemed very natural and came easy to Stein. She was surprisingly relaxed while donning a cashmere robe and had some kind of facial mask applied, with the corresponding cucumber slices on her eyes. It was in this bizarre environment that I began my questions about the recount.
“What recount? Oh! The vote recount effort for Hillary Clinton. Yes, we were so certain it would cost around $2 million dollars, but as we learned more and more about the publicly available information regarding the recount laws in these three states, we knew that our original estimate just wasn’t enough.” She paused to sip champagne from a gold-rimmed Swarovski crystal flute and continued, “It will cost at least $10 Trillion for the recounts in Northwest Wisconsin alone, so we obviously have had to ask for more money…$33 Trillion to be exact.”
When I pressed her further about the exorbitance of the recount cost I was overcome with offers from her speedo-clad Cuban assistants of caviar, brandy, fine cigars, and women. I politely declined, citing my Mormon faith, but was then counter-offered a Disney Movie, a WWJD bracelet, some gourmet root beer, and a monthly subscription to The Blaze. Again, I declined and realized that the interview was likely over at this point.
As I was roughly escorted off the yacht and back onto the dock I was able to get one last question answered. Struggling through the strong yet supple grasps of several young, tan, well manicured Cuban hands, and in a voice just barely loud enough for her to hear me over the noise of the dump trucks backing piles of cash onto the boat I yelled, “Just tell us what will you do with the leftover funds?!”
She must have heard me since she calmly walked to the side of the boat, caressed the rail with her fingers, and slowly smirked as she stared me right in the eyes and provided me a response that shook me to the core.
She simply said, “Rid the world of Wi-Fi.” :ohdear:

Why don't you ever show the links to the stuff you copy/paste?
Is it because you don't know how, or because you're ashamed of the source...and even you know it's Looney Tunes? :ohdear:

Trump calls Obama every day to find out what to do when he becomes president. Yesterday they spoke for 45 minutes.
This is the same Trump who lied for five years about the president's birthplace.
If I were Obama the conversation would go like this: Hi Donald, I was just walking out the door to go play golf, good-bye.
Or the other choice would be to give Trump totally bogus information every time he calls.
My advice to the white house staff IS TO CAREFULLY COUNT THE FURNITURE. Last time the CLINTONS STOLE FURNITURE FROM MY/OUR WHITE HOUSE AND WERE FORCED TO RETURN IT. Like everything else YOU CHOOSE to believe OOPS
THE VOTERS HAVE SPOKEN-SUCK IT UP AND GO AWAY.

It's a pipe dream

.
I'm not expert BUT, I recall reading somewhere that candidates can KEEP any left over campaign contributions.
Stein has received thus far SIX MILLION dollars for this RECOUNT PROJECT. AND THEY, WITH A STRAIGHT FACE SCREAM ABOUT DONALD TRUMP'S IMMORAL BUSINESS PRACTICES.

Now that is hysterical. None of those experts surrounding Trump have ever even visited the White House, unless they took the guided tour, so how would they know how things operate inside the executive mansion?
Believe it or not since the days your comment made ANY SENSE AT ALL, they have invented the telephone, the internet, video etc etc etc.
SUCK IT UP-THE VOTERS HAVE SPOKEN-THE COUNTRY HAS HAD ENOUGH OF SOCIALIST LIBERALS.

So you seem to be saying that Trump is a propagandist, since we know that he initiated all those calls with the president.
We still stand on protocol. I'm not sure if your stated information is even correct BUT, I would doubt the SITTING PRESIDENT would initiate the call. For that matter, the president does not dial his own phone and for that matter
UNLIKE CLINTON CALLS TO AND FROM THE PRESIDENT ARE ON SECURED LINES.

1. The leader takes responsibility for all THE GOOD AND THE BAD. Truman had a sign on his desk the BUCK STOPS HERE. Obama said IT IS ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE'S FAULT.
Too late now but that attitude confirmed my view THAT SOMEONE ELSE SHOULD HAVE BEEN PRESIDENT-THE LEADER.
2. The US has more attorneys per capita then any other country in the world. We also have more lawsuits. We also pay twice what other industrialized countries pay for healthcare and the result-LIFE EXPECTANCY-is about the same. I've read that attorneys add 30% to our medical costs. These numbers are of course easy to tie into a knot BUT...... Like any other BUSINESS who do you think pays for the OVERHEAD? Mal practice insurance is a huge expense-YOU PAY FOR IT.
Obama gave a speech where he said AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE would not effect ATTORNEYS INCOME, INSURANCE COMPANIES INCOME OR QUALITY OF HEALTHCARE. The COST would be covered by COMPUTER RECORD KEEPING. THE SOCIALIST LIBERALS CHEERED.
The fact is that doctors today ARE ALL ON COMPUTER. EXPECTING, AS STATED BY OBAMA. COMPUTER RECORD KEEPING TO PAY FOR ANYTHING, SINCE IT IS ALREAADY UNIVERSALLY USED IS PURE INSANITY.
EIGHTY PERCENT OF ALL HEALTHCARE IS PAID FOR BY EITHER INSURANCE OR THE GOVERNMENT AND THEY BOTH DEMAND COMPUTER RECORDS.
SOLUTION IS the American people have elected a BUSINESSMAN TO THE WHITE HOUSE. Trump is a SUCCESSFUL BUSINESSMAN WITH A HUGH BUSINESS EMPIRE. This is believe it or not A FIRST. The last previous BUSINESSMAN in the white house was TRUMAN.
TRUMAN ran a far smaller business than TRUMP. Truman had a few clothing stores.
I VOTED FOR TRUMP. FOR THOSE WHO DID AND FOR THOSE WHO DID NOT- MAY IT PROVE TO BE A GREAT CHOICE FOR AMERICA.

So, the "legal system" is messed up...and it's her fault?
You KNOW there is corruption in our voting system, why else would they want to ban ID requirements? Make it electronic with no way to identify vote to voter? That's like banning ID requirements at liquor stores and expecting the kids will obey the law.
Maybe the D party screwed Trump somehow and they want to blow the D party and Hillary wide open?
If corruption influenced the vote count, shouldn't we know about it? No matter the side responsible.
Sadly that view is pretty common.
Sadly, RIGHT AND WRONG are not always LEGAL AND ILLEGAL.
We are told the LAW applies to all equally. THAT VIEW IS SIMPLY NAIVE. We saw OJ get away with murder using a legal team that few could afford AND USING THE RACE CARD. Then, we saw OJ get what will be a life sentence for armed robbery- a crime which if it was not OJ with his previously having gotten away with murder would have likely resulted in no jail time. We saw HILLARY, or we will see HILLARY get away with her private e-mails, we saw the Clintons get away with white water, bengazi, for billy same thing in Ruanda, screwing an underling as well as many more, Bill Cosby is likely going to go to jail for the same thing. IF, YOU HAVE NEVER FACED A COURT TRIAL
YOUR OPPONENT KNOWS YOUR ATTORNEY IS BILLING YOU AROUND $300 AN HOUR. I WON MY CASE. THE LOOSING PARTY HAD NOTHING SO I COLLECTED NOTHING. MY ATTY BILL WAS JUST OVER 20,000.
For SWAMP DRAINING, we soon will not have a LAW PROFESSOR MARRIED TO AN ATTY as president. We have not elected an atty married to a DISBARRED ATTY running for ACCORDING TO ME an ILLEGAL tird term in OFFICE.
A NEW VIEW IN THE WHITE HOUSE. I believe if it aint broke don't fix it BUT, our legal system SHOULD BE REVIEWED. Our constitution guarantys A SPEEDY, FAIR AND JUST TRIAL-are we delivering that?
