Empty Nest Services

Hi, it's just me again on a new thread. :wave:

Can anyone tell me about the empty nest service? Has anyone used it? How did you know for sure that they were doing what they were supposed to be doing? Guess I'm just not used to letting someone into my house without knowing them personally first. Kinda gives me the jitters. :faint:

We used TV Property Management empty nest program when we bought our home last July for a couple months. We then converted it to a rental also with TV property management once we got it furnished. We have been very satisfied with their service. Some use private individuals and they may be cheaper, but we feel TV PM is very efficient and keeps up with everything. During the summer months when there is not a renter, PM operates like empty nest and does their inspections and takes care of any issues. Late last fall they handled getting the siding cleaned and things like changing light bulbs or emergency batteries, etc. Today I got their monthly bill for $50 and there was also a charge for replacement filters for the AC. They inspect everything, make sure all is running properly and in good shape. I feel very comfortable with them and feel they take care of it as well as I would. They call or email every month just to let us know all is well and if we have any concerns or questions. Now all we have to do is get our home in MN sold and get down there and I can take care of it myself!

Initally we had friends watch the house, then they noticed the company we hired to cut the grass - did not do the job. Being North it was very frustrating because we could not come down all the time to check.

We did not want to burden our friends to always check our home. So, we decided on Empty Nest. Best decision we have made.

We have had a few issues come up - and they found each - and called us immediately. We would discuss it - and they would have it taken care of for us. We would have items delivered, and they were there. When we would come down, they prepped our home.

Our neighbors would tell us that they saw them come. They would also call us from our home phone.

They are a little expensive, but, they have really been reliable for us.
