Can anyone recommend a repair service for Kenmore stovetop burner?
We are thinking of AA Home Services. Does anyone recommend them?

We used Mr. Appliance just last week to fix our refrigerator and would recommend them. They are highly rated on Angie's List. They were prompt, courteous and cleaned up after the job was done. Locally owned by a US veteran. 352-229-8659, 1601 N. Magnolia Ave., Ocala, FL 34475

We've always used ABC Appliance out of Bellevue, excellent service and price!

Why would you take a chance with the repair person du jour from Sears when you know you'll get a qualified repairman with Rick Beck. IMHO Sears is not the same company we grew up with 50 years ago.

Try going to HomeAdvisor online. I have found a few services through them that I have used for my Home Watch Business and have been very satisfied with the Vendors provided,

You know I don't want to sound like a prude, but to me a lot of the service repair people here in TV seem to charge or take advantage of most of the people that don't have any idea what kind of issues they really have with appliances. Maybe it's because I'm from another part of the country that most service people are desperate for work & some of them will just about fix anything for the price of the part & make very little on hooking up a couple of wires or putting a couple of screws in something. Just seems to me that a lot of people are very gullible when it come to talking to a service person. Sorry, that I didn't give you any recommendations instead of belly aching!

OB, that's why many of us recommend Rick Beck. His prices are fair, his work is excellent, his willingness to say something is not worth the cost of repairing is what makes him Da Man.

I agree and Sears charges a lot more.

Rick Beck came yesterday with our new part for our burner. His repair is timely and reasonably priced. The burner works fine now. He also leveled my stove for me. We are pleased and will call Rick Beck's Appliance repair again if needed. (Hopefully we will not need him)

Another vote for Rick Beck. After reading all the comments I called Rick for a problem with my refrigerator and my stove. Both needed parts. He had the part for the refrigerator and ordered the part for the stove. He was back in 5 days to fix the stove. No charge until everything was fixed. He told me the cost up front and was on time. I will call him again.
