Has anyone installed recessed lighting in the living room area of a
Camelia?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I've seen hanging spot lots over the counter, but not in the LR.

No. It seems that the Camellia/Gardenia is the most light filled living space. My only vote against the Lantana model is that the living area is dark with only the front door and sliders to bring in natural light.

That said spots always add. Where did you think to put them? I have considered hanging spots over the bar and a ceiling fan in the kitchen.

I was thinking maybe in the living room, 2 on each part of the ceiling for a total of 4. Think I'll wait 'till the sun comes back out before I make any decisions. It has been very dark & dreary here. Rained big time again this evening.:sigh:

Not to hijack, but, to piggyback on this thread....

We have a Lantana (also same floor plan as the Juniper) and are struggling with how to get adequate nighttime reading light in the living room. Since it's an open design, there are no corners to put floor lamps in and table lamps just aren't cutting it. So, we're also thinking about any overhead lighting solutions.

By the way, Gracie, and this might also interest you Whalen....we put 2 solatubes in our house. One between the dining and living area and one in the kitchen. It brightens it up immensely...but, only works in the daytime.
