As you know I volunteer with a rescue. I wanted to do something special for the foster dogs and for their families this Christmas season. Everyone likes to receive a present......whether you are an animal or a human. The foster parents and dogs deserve something nice.
We are looking for SECRET SANTAS that would like to send a special gift to one our of foster dogs present or future. All donated items will be sent to our central office and foster homes can pick items from the list that their foster dog(s) could use. If we receive more items than are needed currently, then the items will be used for future foster dogs coming into rescue. Items like blankets, dog beds, and toys are always needed. You are welcome to send treats or whatever you would like. It is all about giving this time of year. I know it makes me feel good. If you don't want to buy say a bed, for example, and then have to worry about mailing it, you can do your shopping on-line at your favorite site or through our Wish List on Amazon.com. They will mail it for you. http://fldr.org/get-involved/amazon-wish-list/ If you wish to mail your own gift, message me for the office's mailing address. FYI, none of these come to me.
I hope some of you will join me in making some foster dogs' and foster parents' Christmas a little brighter. Please consider skipping a cup or two of Starbuck's coffee and send one of our foster families and their foster dog a gift. It's about the Joy of Giving to others.
On behalf of our foster dogs and their foster families, I hope you have a warm, wonderful Christmas or holiday season.
