Does anyone know the closest place(s) for good saltwater fishing from shore or from a kayak? Any info would be appreciated.

Go online and check the fishing reports from crystal river. Also, E-mail Eric VanGorder at GMS in Spanish Springs. He is a Professional Kayak fisherman. That's probably going to be your best source of info.
