What they really mean is make America "White" again.
The bigotry, racism and hatred has shown it's colors in this community.
Sorry I moved here and looking forward to getting out.

White and great ARE synonymous...just as minority and sh!tty are.

White is to a great society as black is to violence and poverty. True of false? Let's see how honest you are.

I'm ashamed of them too...they've had people like me, telling them all along that we shouldn't be promoting minority involvement, that they're inferior...nobody listened and now, within 30 years, they will be the majority and the nation will be lost...a Mexico II.

You have mistakenly painted TV with your biased opinion and you should know by now that America has voted in unison with TV.

Good luck in finding those who you think are better choices,
your options are pretty slim and not very attractive by comparison to TV....like NYC, Chicago, Los Angeles, et al.

Bye and good luck.

I thought Trump said "Make America Thin Again" and he would be conducting daily exercise classes on TV.

Seriously, you probably just saved hundreds of viewers of making the same mistake you did.

Why ignore this person, who you make fun of ?

This poster makes a good point, one which you and your ilk continue to make and have made since 2008.

The comments are....what has Obama done to help race relations ? Or.....Why does not Obama try to bring us together ?

I may have even asked that question, but here we have you demeaning and belittling a poster for asking a simple AND valid question if a man who has reawakened the white supremist movement, who declared his wish to bring everyone together, and yet.....

Sorry, this person asked the same question you asked. Yet they get made fun of ??

I assure you that this forum has, in a small way mind you because of the number of readers, but nonetheless has for sure given our hometown a reputation as a haven, at least, rhetorically, for white, right wing extremists.

BS!

It happens all the time with the partisan lemmings, and now especially their loser lost the election.....just when one thinks they have heard and seen the most off the wall BS....BOOM.....out comes a new record breaker.

As much value as this forum provides for many of us....it most certainly does not come close to generating a reputation for anybody but the limited few who do not like or condone or agree or what ever with what is presented.

Well, since you imply I am lying, I will attempt to get permission to share quotes for you...as specific as I can.

But curious, what "value" do you get from this forum ?

Frankly, I can remember NO discussion of issues from you, and your posts are sort of a one way street....I hate Clinton...I hate Obama...I hate liberals (although my recall is YOU use other names to refer to those you do not like), so is this therapy if some sort for you ?

I did not intend nor did I imply lying what so ever.
THAT is your version of what was said....however wrong/incorrect....to make whatever point(s) that suit your agenda......

And you are confused; your recollection of who posted what is totally incorrect. All it does is degrade credibility.

You will have to do a better job of remembering/guessing who said or did what with the apparent erroneous all knowing which guest said what/when system.

Wow, you really seem to have a problem with resisting the temptation to insert your dissatisfaction instead of just leaving. Why is it that those that do not agree insist on telling us that TOTV is terrible and that Villagers are racists and bigots? And then you complain if someone doesn't agree with your statements. Wow, again!

There is NO requirement for your type to submit input to this forum daily in order to stay registered. If you don't like it here, no one is forcing you to participate. Why is it that if liberals do not like something, they insist on having it banned from anyone else? If you don't agree with/like church, then don't go. Don't have it shut down. If you don't like guns, then don't purchase one, etc.

Do you really think that you are garnering sympathy from anyone by claiming that these forums are not fair and that they give The Villages a bad name? Are you also one of those that claims that STD's are running rampant in The Villages?

SO, thanks again for diverting the subject from from the title of the thread "Make America Great Again?"

My comment on this subject is that anything should be an improvement over the last 8 years. America was a nation that received a lot of respect at one time in the past. Since Obama (dare I use his name without causing a flood of tears?) our nation has appeared weak and fractured. Obama seemed to wish to focus more on climate change and making excuses for radical Islam than our economy. He focused more on local issues, agitating racial tensions than practicing/encouraging unity, and national loyalty/patriotism. I doubt anyone will really be disappointed when they see him leaving the White House permanently.

Trump wishes to Make America Great Again. Regardless of his version or image of what "great" is, I am looking forward to his attempt. He has already shown his support for our military and law enforcement members. He doesn't disparage them like Obama or HIllary. He is already an improvement over what we have had to endure for the past two terms.

I would suspect that the type of conversation going on with political talk is pretty much the same shared with blogs all over this nation.

The news media are irresponsible in that they not only published fake news they continue to fuel the flames of destructive speech.

Like some of the threads on this forum posters continue to express their opinions ad nauseam and just can't seem to let go

This nation is on a hyper partisan high, worsen with Donald Trump's election.

And it all seems much worse than perhaps it is because we have many level headed Americans with an attitude that says "this too shall pass.

Personal Best Regards:

Trump will be in direct violation of the US Constitution at 12:02pm on Jan 20,2017 if he rents out a room at his DC hotel to a foreign diplomat.

This is because of the Emolument Clause in Section one. No need to tell any tea partiers this as they have the Constitution memorized and imprinted on their brains.

Trump will also be in violation of his lease on the same hotel which says no government employee shall be a party to said lease.

Time for Donnie to so some fancy footwork and unburden himself from this boondoggle. If he doesn't, how long will republicans allow him to violate the constitution, an impeachable offense?

Do you mean the constitution loving, flag waving republican party.

On a lighter note, NBA teams visiting NYC are refusing to stay at the Trump SOHO Hotel, where they have traditionally stayed. Sadly, this hotel is not even owned by Trump, so some innocent owner is paying the price for doing business with Trump.

Any MLK Blvd will open your eyes in a second. Can you imagine the liberals posting on here about equality being thrown onto MLK Blvd in East St Louis, or Chicago, or Detroit...or ANY other "fine" black neighborhood? Actually, naming the main "black street" in town MLK Blvd tells tourists where to AVOID. NOTHING good EVER comes from MLK Blvd.

What's wrong with the Constitution? The flag? That's the problem with liberals...they want to change the country into something it cannot be. You'll NEVER have equality because there is no equality. In the insane quest, the nation will drop lower and lower...become more and more 3rd world. You don't let idiots come in and turn it into the sh!thole they came from.

I bet the hotel is happy to see them go. Not EVERY customer is wanted. NBA athletes are known for their behavior, they're probably better off without them. If they could, many businesses would rather not deal with blacks. WHY do you think they HAD to make a law FORCING you to? I always wonder why people who complain live where they do. This place is 99% white, we like it that way...if YOU want diversity...then go to THEM, don't try to bring them here. You know it will happen...someday (hopefully after I'm gone), they will start moving in...that's the day the villages really dies. That's the day America has passed the point of no return.

I weep for our future...

Implied multiple felonies are not violations to the Constitution.

Wishful thinking of possible scenarios with Trump is not a violation to the Constitution. Has he committed something that he can be impeached for? Before you answer, let me remind you that the answer is a big "NO." He cannot be impeached unless he is sworn in as a gov employee.

Implied felonies? If you think that Hillary has not committed multiple felonies, then you are dense and uninformed. She has committed many violations to federal law pertaining to handling of classified information, as well as lying under oath. I have listed the statutes that I am very familiar with that she has violated in other posts. It is admirable for you to be loyal but also stupid to make yourself look the fool. Hillary will eventually pay for her crimes, if not now then later. She is scum and it disappoints me that the Democrat party would support scum like that.

After seeing how Obama disregarded the Constitution on many issues and had to be chastised by the Supreme court, I am not at all worried that Trump has anything to worry about. Our government no longer feels that they are accountable for their misdeeds as is proven by Obama and Hillary.

But, you have no concept of the law, so it is understandable that you would just parrot liberal talking points.

By the way, Hillary gave evidence against herself under oath that could have condemned the average person to indictment.

It is true, that Hillary has committed multiple felonies and I have listed them by statute in past posts. And there are plenty of recordings on the Internet of her admitting to some of it, in case you don't remember. You are correct to think that it is ridiculous to think that the Democrat party would not protect her from being impeached or indicted. It probably won't happen. I am sure that the Clintons know where the skeletons are located in D.C. And with Soros pulling all the puppet strings on the left, how can anyone fight that? Of course, once Soros is done with the Clintons, it is probable that they will be victims of some unfortunate accident or perish due to an unforeseen natural cause. They already look the part of the latter.

Impeach means removing a person from office. It would not be possible to impeach a person not holding office.

The remainder of your scenario is truly mind-boggling.

Wow..... HATE - Ignorance -bigotry - racism. You guys really fit the description. This is what is WRONG with America.

Yep. :(

And don't forget those who give tacit approval to them, simply because they are on 'their political side'...and don't have the decency and integrity to speak out against them. :ohdear:

Wow..... HATE - Ignorance -bigotry - racism. You guys really fit the description. This is what is WRONG with America.

No...what is WRONG with America is a quickly growing minority majority that is going to destroy it. 50 million collecting foodstamps ($95,000,000,000 a year foodstamps cost alone), millions in public housing. Welfare is 1/3 the federal budget now. It's bankrupting us. Quotas and reduced standards are also destroying us. Those are the for the minorities benefit.

We've LEARNED to "hate". We hate THEIR ACTIONS. Their inability/refusal to educate themselves. Their propensity for crime and violence. What they do to formerly beautiful neighborhoods. It's NOT the color of their skin...it's THEM...what's inside.

Yep. :(

And don't forget those who give tacit approval to them, simply because they are on 'their political side'...and don't have the decency and integrity to speak out against them. :ohdear:

If you never get it...your grandchildren will...when the country has become 3rd world because YOU encouraged minorities to rise up.

Are you so ignorant as to believe these rooms would not be rented to someone else if these thugs went elsewhere?

The NBA is refusing to stay at Trump Hotels because of safety concerns. What makes you think that the average Joe doesn't care about his safety just as much as the NBA does?

How will you feel about sending your children and grandchildren all over the world to protect Trump properties when they are attacked by ISIS?

And BTW, these NBA decisions are made by the people that write the checks, the owners, not the players.

I think that what just happened is that a bunch of us voted the Republicans AND the Democrats out. We voted political correctness (which is labeling) out. We voted a narrow minded, phony sweetness out. We voted honesty and common sense back in. Save your money. Don't spend it on able bodied leeches. Give it only to people who really ARE disabled or unable to find a way after trying trying trying to take care of themselves.

I think you are very very wrong.

Is not condemning all the media as liars labeling ?

Is not singling out one religion for condemnation labeling ?

Is not condemning an American born judge incompetent because of his heritage labeling ?

If you believe that Donald J Trump is honest, you have not even been paying attention at all.

I want to support his policies, once I see them, but to use the word honesty in the same sentence as his name is simply ludicrous.

You did not Elect honesty...I hope he can be controlled and stay on track, but you elected a man who has the quickest trigger ever in labeling and a proven track record of bugly lies, and not just to his wife's.

But gee..while the world was involved in hearing about the children in Aleppo on this past Wed(or Thurs) our new President was on Twitter condemning Vanity Fair because of a bad review at one of his restaraunts so there yo go.

I feel and felt the same exact way about Obama. Although, you have a view that is not a majority opinion, just a divisive liberal view. You can't see it, but anyone that listens to you will see it. People like you that disagree with someone will take on the personality of an adolescent that say "you just hate me" to their parents when they do not get their way, or "you hate all old people because you want to take away their health care." The extreme, even though you know it to be exactly that, extreme.

And of course, you will attempt to convince someone that you are not a liberal, that you are really a conservative. Why are you afraid to embrace your ideology?

I know my ideology...do you know Trumps ?

Do you know his spending plans versus the Democrats ?

Do you know his plans on entitlements ?

I am a conservative but cannot support all of anyone's policies.

My biggest fear is his lack of transparency with the American public, and your acceptance of his hiding ?

Impeachment - Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impeachment)

Impeachment is the process of removing someone from office. The key words here are removing someone from office. In order to impeach Hillary Clinton, it would have had to be done prior to 2012 while she was in office. Nice try.

If you think Trump is even close to honest, has been ever very close to honest, you either do not have a clue about the world, OR more likely, you know but refuse to accept the truth, which appears to be basic trait of yours. But in leaving to once again to have you keep lying to yourself,, I share...

"."No president, including Richard Nixon, has been so ignorant of fact and disdains fact in the way this President-elect does," said Bernstein, whose reporting in the 1970s with Bob Woodward for the Washington Post exposed the Watergate scandal and led to Nixon's resignation.

"And it has something to do with the growing sense of authoritarianism he and his presidency are projecting," Bernstein added. "The danger of it is obvious and he's trying to make the conduct of the press the issue, not his own conduct"

Carl Bernstein: Donald Trump has 'disdain for the truth' - CNN.com (http://www.cnn.com/2016/12/11/us/bernstein-on-trumps-disdain-cnntv/)

Now, of course you and your little gang now attack the reporters of his les, which is typical, or simply google something like Trump lies. Only individual with his own files for his lies.

Why do you think he will not face the media ? Why do you think he likes the big crowds ?

Unquestioned, and food for his ego.

Does that mean, he will be a bad Presidet...no. But certainly until he gets in office, and if he continues, he will go down in flames and quickly. OR he can act like a mature adult.

But please when you suggest this man is honest you refutebyears and years of public files, videos and clips.

It is so funny to read this useless chatter. Why would anyone think it is worthwhile attempting to convince a conservative or a liberal to believe the other? Better to sit back and enjoy the few years we have to live on this earth. And I still have "Hope" unlike some people of privilege.

Trump Tax returns - who cares, it does not matter
Hillary's EMails - wrong but , who cares, she is out to pasture
Popular Vote vs Electoral Vote - Not an issue - The rules apply
How bad Bush was, and how bad Obama is

What does Matter?

The Constitution
Our Country's Safety
The Economy
Where we go from here

Your post is juvenile and thus difficult to respond to..

His tax returns POTENTIALY could be the story of the century if even a percentage of the rumbling prove to be true. It is uGE and is not going away.

All the other stuff you rambled about make no sense.

I, personally, have no illusions. Those who post on here are primarily Trump supporters and are blind dumb and happy. They prefer to talk about Hillary or Bill Clinton, so they do not even count.

Take note of the posts who simply say "we won" or those that are simply cute little pictures. Links have become a thing of the past, because the posts make no points and thus have no credible source to validate them. Actually, you just never see them, UNLES they are plagiarized. Asking questions on here is futile.

A great example to manifest this forum in its best light.

A forum designed to share ideas, thoughts and opinions.

THIS is a lot for this poster, so as you wonder why an adult would post this or wonder what in the world is in his head...be patient, this is literally all he has. He is programmed to act like a juvenile...he can at times, make stupid crude, unrelated, immature remarks, however that is restricted to a few subjects...Clinton is one of his favorites, and I suspect after Jan 20, he will be hard pressed to post anything at all.

But again, enjoy his little pics, and stunted posts...it is literally all he can do.

You make my point . You have to criticize even those who try to welcome you to the reality of the present. Your rants are great humor.

Oh, listen I totally live in reality. Read around you all about in no particular order

1. Benghazi
2. Impeachment of Clinton (say what, but it is being discussed)
3. The penalties for Clinton (never convicted of anything but what the hell)
4. Honesty of Trump (one of the funniest)
5. Redecorating The NY Times building
6. Approval ratings of past Presidents

I will stop there......

Now, my posts have acknowledged many times that Trump won, that the taxes he is hiding are important, that he should not be tweeting about restaurant envies on Vanity Fair when the world is discussing Aleppo, asking others to discuss issues, calling attention to the plagiarizing of pro Russian web sites, trying to stay out of the many hate black discussions.

I am oretty much aware...just was reading how KellyAnne Conways says rpthe Trump folks dispute all 17 intelligence agencies, their own party leaders and do not believe the Russian hacking took place, read how congress will "have the final say" on Trumps conflicts of interest, Reinve Prebius saying Trump does not accept the CIA or FBI reports.

I keep up to date, and get frustrated with pictures, "we won" comments, Hillary Clinton discussions, discussion on which skin color is better and smarter and stuff like that.

I am the one who recognizes reality....most if these posters have plunged their heads deep somewhere...read only alt right sites because Trump said to, love pro Russian sites, and do not understand it is time to govern niw

Here is something that most on here will not read. It is not a tribute to Trump, nor is it demeaning anyone.

It does apply to the posters on here however, and is something that is going to become a big deal..

Trump does not want people to read or listen to what he calls the bad media. He prefers to avoid any questions over which he has no control. He loves the rallies...he can do his stand up and tell you whatever he wants to and you all believe it.

At times on here when I asked about issues, I was told to read Trumps website..that should scare you a bit.

A career liar if epic proportions and you believe all he says. In any case....I will wait for rebuttals from obscure Russian websites.

Of course.most posters do not even read much..simply watch rallies and catch a few headlines if they demean somebody

"Trump’s victory means that the most extreme and recklessly irresponsible voices on the right now feel emboldened and empowered. And more worrisome than that, they have an ally in the White House. For years, Rush Limbaugh has gibed about what he calls the “state-controlled media”—the fawning liberal news outlets that Limbaugh has long decried for their lack of critical coverage of President Barack Obama—but we may be about to see what one actually looks like—an alt-reality news outlet operating from within 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. The new media will not only provide propaganda cover for the administration, but also direct the fire of a loose confederation of conservative outlets against critics and dissenters. Already, Fox’s Sean Hannity has urged Trump to freeze out the mainstream media and talk directly to the nation. The “fake news” that we are now obsessing over is only the latest leading indicator of the perils of our new post-truth media/political world. Indeed, what we learned this year was that the walls are down, the gatekeepers dismissed, the norms and standards of journalism and fact-based discourse trashed."

I forgot to add this and it is important. Alex Jones, who Trump has quoted and referred to as "amazing" has now great influence....recap a bit..this guy who Trump trusts ..thinks 9/11 was faked, does not believe those little kids actually died in Sandy Hook and so n. HE has the ear of our new White House.

"Jones is not your garden-variety conspiracy theorist. He is a 9/11 truther, who believes the U.S. government conspired in the attacks to justify the creation of a police state. He has suggested that the government also may have been behind the bombings in Oklahoma City, which killed 168 people, and at the Boston Marathon, which killed three. And he has repeatedly suggested that the Sandy Hook shootings were a “hoax,” “synthetic” and “completely fake.” He also thinks the government wants to “encourage homosexuality so people don’t have children” and said that Hillary Clinton was “a frickin' demon and she stinks and so does Obama.”

Jones has claimed that he has 5 million daily listeners to his radio shows, which he simulcasts on his website and extends through his YouTube channel. The Drudge Report routinely links to his stories. “I think Alex Jones may be the single most important voice in the alternative conservative media,” says Trump whisperer Roger Stone, who describes the conspiracy theorist as “a valuable asset” who will “rally the people around President Trump’s legislative program.”
