Dealergate on hold for now

Until somebody advances some solid information on the Dealergate thread, I am leaving it turned off. It is still here on the forum, but cannot be seen.

We strive to not perpetuate the cut-and-paste kind of unsubstantiated material. You all know the kind because you get them in your email all the time from well-meaning friends.

Although this Dealergate thread was not cut and paste, it looked like blantant internet hokum.

So, whichever side gets something substantial, let me know. Otherwise we don't want to be part of hysterical reaction.

I predict that there won't be any substantiation of the primary claim of the thread. Or, at absolute best, it will be a reference to some other internet "hokum-author", whose claims can't be substantiated either.
