Melania Trump is suing a tabloid for $150 million for a now retracted story that she once worked as an escort.
The lawyer in this case is the same one involved in the Hulk Hogan case, which put Gawker out of business.

Just the beginning as you say....FOR SURE
"A new Texas nonprofit led by Donald Trump’s grown sons is offering access to the freshly-minted president during inauguration weekend — all in exchange for million-dollar donations to unnamed “conservation” charities, according to interviews and documents reviewed by the Center for Public Integrity.
And the donors’ identities may never be known.
Prospective million-dollar donors to the “Opening Day 2017” event — slated for Jan. 21, the day after inauguration, at Washington, D.C.’s Walter E. Washington Convention Center — receive a “private reception and photo opportunity for 16 guests with President Donald J. Trump,” a “multi-day hunting and/or fishing excursion for 4 guests with Donald Trump, Jr. and/or Eric Trump, and team,” as well as tickets to other events and “autographed guitars by an Opening Day 2017 performer.”
Donald Trump's sons behind nonprofit selling access to president-elect | Center for Public Integrity (https://www.publicintegrity.org/2016/12/19/20564/donald-trumps-sons-behind-nonprofit-selling-access-president-elect)
BUT we are trust this man and family. Do you all recall the PHONEY contributions early in the campaign, some of which to this day have gotten nothing.
This is the man who says to all americans that he will conduct foreign policy with Russia, Turkey, Iran and only think of America while he totally REFUSES to tell us how much he is indebted to those very same countries.
This from the same link.
"“This is problematic on so many levels,” said Larry Noble, the general counsel of the Campaign Legal Center, a nonpartisan campaign reform organization. “This is Donald Trump and the Trump family using a brand new organization to raise $1 million contributions for a vague goal of giving money to conservation
charities, which seems a way of basically just selling influence and selling the ability to meet with the president.”
"The family canceled an auction for coffee with Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump last week after ethics experts said it was ethically questionable, according to the New York Times. The proceeds of the auction would have gone to the Eric Trump Foundation, an existing nonprofit whose mission is to support a children’s hospital."
Should not his mind be on what he is going to do for our country.
This morning he tweeted how Bill Clinton called him and of course put his own little twist on that....does not matter who is right ...WHY IS HE TWEETING ABOUT IT.
His supporters say he will not agree that Russia hacked us because it will look bad for HIM.
He is still tweeting about Vanity Fair giving a bad revies.

A juvenile retort is when someone points out Trump is selling influence and rather than discuss the issue they discuss the Clinton's. It's akin to "I know you are but what am I? Now that's juvenile.
I'll ask again; does selling influence by Trump offend you or only if the Clinton's do it? Man up and answer the question.

No he has not, and obviously you do not read posts that you do not like.
I along with others note he is not President as of yet and most conversations have been about what he is doing in the mean time and as much as you seem to keep avoiding it....his total and complete lack of transparency...you seem ok with our President in charge of foreign affairs being indebted for millions to Russia, Turkey and so many more, some of which are or support terrorists states.
How do I know that ? Good question. Based on his own families comments, investigative reports it surely paints that pic but you are right....WE DO NOT KNOW if our President will be thinking HIS business or OUR business.
And of course, as he backs down on every single pledge he has made to his followers during the campaign, I think it fair as to what might happen. One scenario is that he is just the front man for whatever congress wishes.....do not know but I think wondering what he actually stands for is fair based on his history of lying and being unfaithful to not only his wives but his idealogy.

Yes, I am sure that this is his motive for taking a hard job, living in below his standard of housing, and dealing with petulant liberals that are afraid that he is going to take their gov subsidies away. And no other politicians have ever made money from their positions, right? Explain to me why you think that Trump's motive to be president is to make money. Another "mislead" by Trump on the campaign trail. I posted this information earlier and was sort of.."ridiculed" and immediately was vaulted into a discussion on Clinton and blacks, but it is now time to accept this administration, and I sure hope he makes happen what he promised but he keeps changing on you.
Believe me, HE is not going to lose money on this adventure game of his.
"Donald Trump has proposed a very detailed tax plan — but his statements on the campaign trail don't always match what his proposal would really do.
For instance, at a rally in Scranton, Pa., Trump promised to "massively cut taxes for the middle class, the forgotten people, the forgotten men and women of this country, who built our country." During a town hall meeting on NBC's Today show, he said he believes in raising taxes on the wealthy.
And at least half of Trump's supporters agreed with him on that, according to a pre-election survey by RAND Corp., a research group.
"Just before the election, after the last debate, 51 percent of them intending to vote for Trump supported increasing taxes on high-earning individuals," says Michael Pollard of RAND.
But Trump's plan does the opposite, says Lily Batchelder, a law professor at New York University and visiting fellow at the Tax Policy Center.
"If you look at the most wealthy, the top 1 percent would get about half of the benefits of his tax cuts, and a millionaire, for example, would get an average tax cut of $317,000," she says."

How about this or there are more...let's be clear. I do not believe any of this will come to fruition. My point was and will always be on almost everything he said and says is a lie.
But good catch by you..appreciate it...note the impact on national debt in this summary, and note that his income level is the big gainer.
"This paper analyzes presidential candidate Donald Trump’s revised tax proposal, which would significantly reduce marginal tax rates, increase standard deduction amounts, repeal personal exemptions, cap itemized deductions, and allow businesses to elect to expense new investment and not deduct interest expense.
His proposal would cut taxes at all income levels, although the largest benefits, in dollar and percentage terms, would go to the highest-income households. Federal revenues would fall by $6.2 trillion over the first decade before accounting for added interest costs. Including interest costs, the federal debt would rise by $7.2 trillion over the first decade and by $20.9 trillion by 2036."

Trump is one of them, part of the system. He'll borrow and spend like a mad man. We'll owe close to $30 trillion after his 1st term. That'll be close to $100,000 PER man, woman, and child.

"A Letter from Sarah Rosen Wartell, President, on the Commitment to Greater Diversity and Inclusion at the Urban Institute
The Urban Institute strives to be a vibrant, creative community of skilled and committed people who bring to their work a whole range of different experiences. That means differences in race and ethnicity, in academic discipline and mode of inquiry, in faith and political perspective, in abilities and disabilities, in service, in gender identification and sexual orientation, and more. But, like many other research organizations, universities, businesses, and nonprofits, the Urban Institute has far to go in its journey toward full diversity and inclusion.
Our mission is to bring evidence to bear on challenges facing an increasingly diverse country, where inequities persist. To advance this mission, I believe we must attract and support diverse identities, experiences, talents, and thought processes within our institution. We must work harder to recruit and retain all the talented people who can provide insights and solutions for an increasingly diverse society. We must think intentionally about how we can learn from and speak to audiences that reflect the rich diversity of America’s communities. We must create safe spaces for hard but trusting conversations among colleagues about their own experiences within our community and how its norms and practices may affect different contributors differently. Diversity is the LAST thing truly intelligent "think tanks" would want. A differing opinion isn't worth a damn if it's wrong. Would you go to the special education class to look for people for your debate team? Then why would you want minorities in your "think tank"? I am replying but not with a rebuttal of any kind. Reading your response, it is obvious that your beliefs are founded in skin color and not fundamental economics thus with respect I stand back.
I could show you various economic reports about how he gains from the tax reform he proposes more than anyone and its impact on the national debt, but you will reject them out of hand. You can obviously google and read the economist of your choice, but thinking it will not change anything in this conversation.

Economics and "skin color" or more accurately...species...are very interrelated. White have successful, thriving economies...blacks do not...ever.
I Googled YOUR "economists", you posted them, I just checked them out. They're BOTH liberal and therefore biased. No liberal place will EVER blame the minorities themselves for anything. It's ALWAYS something/somebody else not giving them a chance. They'll NEVER say...it's them, they're just not as smart as we are.
As for Trump...I agree with you. He's a crooked as the rest of them. He'll create problems like the rest of them. I just disagree with the people who are "analyzing" his economic plans. They've ALL been liberals, every one you cited were all liberals...and therefore can't be trusted for honesty because their major tenet "equality" is a false lie.
It's like a church...if their main tenet is a false lie, why do you care what else they have to say?

Trump has selected an outstanding group of professionals for his advisor positions. Can't wait to see them in action. Regardless of what one thinks of Trump, he has formed a great team.

No disrespect intended, but when I see posts like this I wonder how much real world experience a person such as this has had to make such a comment. Successful business people often have a lot of experience in leadership, negotiation, working within budgets, working with many different types of people, and so on. I think these are important qualities for a President. Many things can be learned, some of the above, not so much.

My point, as I said earlier was that he lied to his followers and how he and his family will gain more from these tax plans than anyone.
ALSO, as I said, I do not think these tax plans will see the light of day in any case. I do hope he pursues the infrastructure spending however.
And how do you suppose we pay for this without cutting spending elsewhere or increasing taxes? Once you can find a solution for that, you will be the next billionaire.

They borrow it...it's why we owe $20 trillion.
They lower interest rates so they can make the interest payment.
Trump will borrow even more!

Infrastructure spending done correctly is great for the economy. Building of railways, airports, etc will create millions of jobs.
I think I read one time, that long term the economy gets almost 2 bucks for every buck of infrastructure spending.
You hear a lot of talk about reducing regulations, etc.
Most if that talk is because the regulations make infrastructure spending difficult.

Let me answer that with the fact that Obama had NO/NO leadership experience or training and look at his miserable record and how divided the country is today. These business billionaires have leadership experience. The government is just another business, supposedly a non-profit business. The gov would have been shut down decades ago if it was a private business, as being unproductive. If you can't see where a business person might have an advantage in management, then you are one of the causes of our country's plight.

It would have been forced into bankruptcy. $20 trillion in debt AND borrowing over a $trillion a year? That's bankrupt.
They'll have an advantage all right...in managing to get even richer off the taxpayer. Trump will borrow and spend like crazy...they'll be in on the ground floor. Officially, they can't profit...but we all know how that goes.

Who will forget when two million people showed up at Obama's 2012 inauguration? Oddsmakers are putting this year's attendance at 50,000 or below.

You are correct about the army of followers going to DC. There are several busloads of KKK members leaving the Villages in full regalia, white sheets, matching hoods and TV golf visors. Unfortunately, they won't be able to carry their long guns due to DC's gun laws.
Obama is in for an experience he has never had while president. While driving to the capital with Trump, thousands of bystanders are expected to pelt the motorcade with rotten eggs. This is also what has been happening at Trump Tower in NYC every day since the election.

Nice imagination, but even if all that was true he would still start out a better president than Barry ever has been. But, Barry set the bar pretty low. Isn't it better to think that one is ignorant of the facts than to say they knew that Hillary was a scumbag criminal and pathological liar and still voted for her? I have not heard ONE libtard admit that Hillary had broken any laws or lied under oath. I have only heard libtards on here consistently state that it was all a right wing conspiracy and that she was not convicted, therefore she could not possibly be a criminal. So, if you are saying that the left is NOT ignorant, then they have to have ignored the fact that Hillary was a scumbag with a history of criminal activity and lies and yet still voted for her. SO, which is it? Let's face it, the left is uninformed and ignorant. Although, they thought they knew a lot about Trump. At least something he "said" over a decade ago.
