Allied was great. Both my husband and I loved it. War movie, spies and love story combined.

Allied I agree is one of the better ones out there. Arrival is more intellectual than most movies. Demands some work from the audience.
I enjoyed Arrival, but friends I went to the movies with, didn't. Review on Rotten Tomatoes was good.

Well, I kind of liked "Birdman", so according to everyone I know, any review from me would be worthless.:sigh:

Thought Birdman was excellent. But I like art house movies too along with the summer blockbusters and winter Oscar contenders.

We enjoyed both Rogue One and Collateral Beauty. Two ends of the movie spectrum but both well done.
