That may be so, but then how do you explain the Stones, the Beetles and all the other crazy rock bands from our youth who are aging along with us? He apparently died from a heart attack which would suggest he had a hidden heart problem which was not detected.

He will be sadly missed in my house. He was always one of our favorites. One of my favorite Christmas songs is Last Christmas. It's a shame that this is his last.

I get a lot of my news through the computer and this morning there is an editorial on the huge amount of money he donated to three charities. His donations are not just a one time event, he actually donated royalties from his biggest hits so this is a continuing source of income for the recipients.

Quote: "The man with the reputation for self-indulgence had actually given millions of pounds (dollars) to charities involved with helping children, cancer victims and AIDS sufferers.

He was also remembered for small acts of kindness: helping his village in north London get a Christmas tree, and volunteering at a homeless shelter."

It is a shame more Villagers have not listened to the song "Careless Whisper" as I notice a lot of that going on.
Only my opinion, I an also guilty.

While he made some foolish choices in his past, he was a great talent and a truly generous man. We're blessed that we can enjoy his music. May he rest in peace and may people remember his talent, his kindness, not his mistakes.
