David Carradine of Kung Fu fame died today (or maybe tomorrow?) in Bangkok of apparent suicide.
Loved that show!
You will be missed Grasshopper.

I heard that too. I didn't realize he was 72, but then I didn't realize when I became my age either. (62) In my mind I am still very young - then I see a darn mirror.

I met David once on a flight from NY to LA back in the late 70's or early 80's. He had 2 children in tow and his wife, none of them looked like they had bathed for weeks. They didn't smell too good either.
Sorry David, Rest In Peace, but this is my memory of you. You came from a very talented family, your father was one of my MOST favorite actors.

My earliest memory of him was all the publicity about him taking the placenta from the birth of his first child and burying under a tree in his front yard. He also ate part of it. . Oh please forgive me, but that stands out vividely in my mind. barf

I read the authorities in Thailand were investigating his death - apparently not a suicide, but a death from asphyxia while engaged in a little hanky panky. It seems too that his neck wasn't the only thing with a rope around it.
And at 72!

Looks like Mark Geragos is getting involved with this death's investigation. That will probably keep this in the news for awhile and discolor the image people now have of David Carradine.

I don't know about the "discoloring" the image of the man. I guess it is how you look at it. I hope that when I am 72 I might still have a little zest for life and maybe wander off the beaten path a little.:)

Really. Not to long ago my father was getting ready to drive himself to the doctor. He walked out of the shower and sat in his recliner and died. Just like that!!! I like David's way better.:pepper2:
