I have a brown spider on my garage door. She has the big round white eggs. Probably going to make it disappear however is there anything to worry about until I do. I am slow and I don't want 100s of little spiders in my garage.

I also have a gecko who has decided he lives in my lanai. I want to share however I don't want him to run into the house because I would pull off his tail, but when I try to shoe him, he runs under my lanai doorframe.

So, what do. My father, wise and in his 80s says leave them be. He also grew up in the 1930s in WV and is a little tougher than I am. I just like to chill and no conflict (and that means with spiders and geckos also).

Well, happy new years. Any advice I would love to hear from you!!!!

So I rule over everything and can crush them if I choose?

No need to crush geckoes.
Just sneak up on them with a soft dish towel, and relocate them outside on the grass.
Geckoes are our friends. They are cute and eat insects.

The spider, however, that would have to go along with all it's eggs.

When we moved into our home it had been empty for a long while, new home never lived in, I am TERRIFIED of spiders and two came out to meet me from under the sink in the garage. The only thing I had was a large can of wasp and hornet killer which you can use from way back because it has a very strong and powerful spray. It took care of both the spiders and has become my best friend, it will even stop roaches dead in their tracks!
