Why does Donald Trump, who says America first in everything, publicly object to any US action against Russia for what everyone except he, acknowledges Russia did in the USA election ? He actually says we should move on.
And why does he say he will overturn any sanctions put on Russia for hacking the USA blatantly and openly ?
Lastly, why does Trump want to lift any sanctions on Russia for their actions in Crimea ?

Just guessing that Trump could owe huge sums of money to Russia. Of course we will never know because we will never see his tax returns.
Republican senators are pursuing the investigation and punishment of Russia, so it won't be Trump's decision to make.

Trump made it clear he believed the Obama's Administrations policy of telling the enemy what he was going to do and when he was going to do it was a losing strategy. Trump fancies himself a good strategist when it comes to negotiations. The news media and otherwise observers in general often misinterpret the subtleties in Trumps sound bites and his tendency to try and get talks underway on the right foot.
What should Trump do about the Crimea when Putin has already taken it over and the people in this region mostly welcomed it? Perhaps I am wrong but I do not view Russia and China as a threat in the sense that they want to invade our lands. I do recognize that they are both aggressively pursuing advantage for their respective nations..
Pursuing Putin is like pursuing the opportunity to ask an attractive woman if she would like to dance with you. The worse she can say is no thank you.

Until it is PROVEN, then why ASSUME it was Russia doing the hacking? Just because Obama says it's so, doesn't make it so.
Is Obama relying on the very same Intelligence that was furnished to Bush before the Iraqi invasion? Bush was accused of lying; why does Obama get a pass?
Just sayin'...........

Because Chump is already controlled by Putin and he doesn't want to make him angry...and expose that control.
Trump will be squirming today though...as at least Obama has the leadership to take action.

U.S. expels 35 Russian diplomats, closes two compounds: official
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States expelled 35 Russian diplomats and closed two Russian compounds in New York and Maryland in response to a campaign of harassment against American diplomats in Moscow, a senior U.S. official said on Thursday.
The move against the diplomats from the Russian embassy in Washington and consulate in San Francisco is part of a series of actions announced on Thursday to punish Russia for a campaign of intimidation of American diplomats in Moscow and interference in the U.S. election.
Now let's watch how many on this forum are NOT American patriots...and get pizzed at what Obama has done.
It won't be hard to make the list of those who voted for Trump, because they hated Hillary... more than they love this great nation.

So, if Obama is SOOO worried about turning over the Nuclear Football, why the sudden initiative to yank the tiger's tail? Or, maybe Obama is hoping that Trump will push the button and start a nuclear event. Hey Obie, there is no bunker in the mountain for you, once you move out of the White House. Obie is strapping on the ultimate bomb vest.

Barry's days are finished, in three weeks, he will go down as America's worst president and he will be suicidal.
A racist piece of gutter trash, why does he not go back to Chicago and try to save some lives. Look what his home town has turned into and not a word of chigago is spoken by him.
An analysis of any of his speeches concludes with a diagnosis of narcissism, much like our handful of totv liberals.

He doesn't want the Russians investigated for Hacking and more,( a LOT more)
Yet IF I remember correctly didn't he keep telling us the elections were " Rigged "
He said it over and over and over again, did he know something we didn't know?
Think about it HE NEVER said who it was rigged for,
Did he know about the Russian hacking and maybe the rigging of our National election.
People should look into Putin's raise in Russia and how he became the richest person in the world and How he will take over the USA with out firing a shot ,
Yes , it is time that we not only investigate Russia's involvement in USA's elections but what type of control they just might have over out next President.
They always said they would take us over with OUT firing a shot, well here it might be coming

Putin has to be the happiest man on earth.
He can just sit back and relax.
He has the President Elect of the USA openly, publicly on Twitter basically calling ALL of our intelligence agencies either liars or incompetent. They are the USA intelligence and they agree 100% on who did it.
He has the President Elect of the USA telling the country to "move on" and simply forget computer espionage.
He has a President Elect questioning sanctions placed on them , not just for hacking, but INTERNATIONAL sanctions placed on them for MILITARY intervention in Ukraine, and suggests we might back out.
He has a President Elect considering lifting sanctions which would allow a tremendous boost to the Russian economy.
I can only assume this is about HIM as it normally is.He wants no doubt about his election, which nobody is doubting, and this plays into what his adversaries have been saying. He WILL allow his personal interests interfere in governing.
Putin is simply giggling at all of us.

Far easier for them to keep matters stirred up and watch the rest of us struggle to financially support the Libs .

Thank goodness the republican house and senate will remain behind when Obama leaves office to conduct their two year investigation into the Russian hacking.
Trump is really painted into the corner. If he rescinds the executive order, he looks like he is condoning the meddling in our elections by Russia. If he doesn't rescind the executive order, his buddy Putin will be angry.
Thank goodness, the president-elect has agreed to be briefed on the Russian hacking by, soon to be his, intelligence community next week.

Ha, ha, ha, you are so lame and hysterical. So, you are still making excuses for Hillary's poor performance?
It's just NOT FAIR! You are still in denial. You are still blaming the Russians for Hillary having an illegal server and the DNC saying negative things about Bernie and his followers. You are blaming the Russians for Hillary's speech where she called Americans deplorable for supporting Trump. You are probably blaming the Russians for your last sunburn. You are not only funny, but pathetic.
Russians responsible for decades of hacking = yes
Russians responsible for Hillary's pathetic loss = NO!

First of all, if Russia did indeed hack the US, it wasn't done openly and blatantly. There is still a good deal of doubt whether this happened and whether or not it was Russia that did it. Secondly, if it was Russia, they did not hack the USA, they hacked Hillary Clinton's private server. According to Wikileaks, their source is not
Russia.
As for all of those who are yelling that all of our intelligent agencies agree on this, that is not true. There is conflict of opinion with some agencies. And don't forget, these are the same agencies that said that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction. How convenient it must be for some to claim that our intelligence was faulty back them but totally trust it now.
But even if it's true, maybe President-Elect Trump is looking toward Russia as an ally in our war against terrorism. Imagine the US and Russia working together to fight ISIS.
Maybe hacking a citizens private server is small potatoes compared to winning the war on terror. Don't forget, we held our nose and allied with Russia to win World War 2. Is Donald Trump acting like FDR?

I agree. The point is that Russia has been hacking forever and this is just a lefty excuse for failure. And we have been hacking since shortly after they started. It's not like this is a new idea or incident. The only difference is that someone leaked the left's corruption and they are crying about it. Why are they not complaining about Trump's '96 tax return that was leaked or the private and illegally obtained recording that was leaked? Is it because he was not incriminated as bad as Hillary or the DNC?
The left needs to shut their hypocritical mouths *** up.

I seriously question Trump in every way possible.
You simply made this up. I have been a conservative for many years, and been on this forum since its inception. If you check the posts made by Bucco and Rags123, you will find strong opinions questioning Obama on most issue, started by or commented on by me.
My name was changed because some liberal posters did not like it...thus they began to PM me in a nasty way and I changed my name.
You people actually believe that you extreme alt right, conspiracy theorists are alone in opposing Obama on Issues.....not even close.
Difference is this.....I object to low character, low moral, compulsive liars and Trump is all that. In addition, those claims are easily validated, and not political speak.
You have opted to this hateful man because of YOUR hate tor the President. Not all of you, but based on posts, many of those opposing him do it because of his skin color and that is repulsive.
Obama was questioned many many times on here, and frankly when I started a number of threads on Syria, most were not even interested.
So save the lectures......our new President has lied his entire life and he will not stop now....he has manipulated everything toward him and he will not stop now.
You will hear a lot of his

It's like I said above, hypocrite! I don't think hate is the word I would use for Obama, I prefer defunct, or inoperable, lazy, prejudice, out of the loop, something on those lines. Your not a conservative, your a wanna be but won't come out of the closet. You probably have some friends you don't want to lose so you play the conservative card with them.
Your not really interested in what's good for America, your only interest is to use the word conservative for your own personal gain. You'll gladly take the free stuff that the liberals hand out and thank them. Lying (whatever your name is)

Where to start...Hillary Clinton's e-mail server was not hacked. It was John Podesta's emails and the DNC that was hacked.
Please list the intel agencies that don't believe Russia was behind the hacking. Senator John McCain R-AZ is calling what Russia did "an act of war". Wouldn't it be interesting if congress declared war on Russia just as Trump is sworn in?

Maybe Putin did hack Trump or the RNC and he's just holding on to it in order to have leverage over Trump. Maybe that's why Trump is sucking up to Putin so much. I'm not saying any of this is true but we'll never know unless we have a bipartisan investigation that is transparent to the public.
One thing I'm sure of is anyone who doesn't want this investigation to take place in a transparent manner is worried about something. This will be interesting to see how it plays out.

For me, I need to see Trumps tax return before I can relax with his presidency.
NOT because of his tax rate, or such a thing.
His family has said they do millions and millions of dollars of business in Russia alone. The Newsweek investigative report also indicated Turkey, Iran and a few other countries involved.
I simply want to know how much he is indebted to these countries on a personal level, and to whom. His tax returns would show that.
Anyone who does not think that is important, is not thinking at all.

Trump has never used e-mails. He is totally computer illiterate. Yesterday he said 'no computer is safe' and the only safe way to communicate is to write everything out and have it delivered by courier. Sounds like an efficient way to run the US government which employs three million.
Evidently Trump thinks America was great back in the 1950's and intends to revert to those practices. Bring back carbon paper.

You will hear a lot of his
"I know things you don't know"
Which roughly translated from Trumpese means, I gotta figure how to make this work for ME. Not the country but ME.
Regarding your last statement, I have to ask you this - how do you know he thinks/feels this way? Being in private enterprise, building a business, it would make sense to be a lot about "me", but making the choice to run for public office should not be, even though we have seen an awful lot of self-aggrandizing in recent years. Having chosen to now become a public servant, I withhold my judgment regarding Trump in this manner until I see the evidence. He certainly didn't need to run for office for the money or the fame. My opinion at this point in time is that he ran, not to elevate himself, because I hardly think he needs to do that, but because he does desire to right some wrongs in our country and realizes the only way to do it is to get one's hands dirty. Now I could be proven incorrect about this, but I prefer to reserve my right to judge until I see a reason to do so, just as I did for Obama. In other words, how about giving him a chance to do the job first before criticizing?
I think that the reason the Clinton's and Obama continue to come up in discussions regarding Trump is because if you want to make comparisons, I'm not sure anyone could match the character defects of the Clinton's or the arrogance of Obama - even Trump! So your hatred toward Trump is confusing to me when you admonish those who show similar contempt for Obama. If all it has to do with is lying, which you reference quite a bit, I think the Clinton's and Obama could give Trump a run for his money in that arena!

I never said I hated Trump...cannot recall ever HATING anyone.
He is and has been a public figure thus we know a lot of Trump. He has never changed one iota. Going back to his illegal housing stories, even up to just this past epweek or so and his outright lies concerning his foundation, he has never missed a beat.
Since becoming President Elect, he has trashed my country's intelligence agencies and did it publicly to insure embarrassment to all. He has tried, and succeeded to insure the spotlight remains on him.
Given his awful, egoist, despicable, immoral behavior his entire life, I would bE willing to give him a chance in some areas, but he has shown in the last few weeks, he still does not get it.
F he would release his tax returns, I would step back a bit, but he will not. See, this man who rails against people for being not transparent remains the most secretive man to enter the WH eve. The huge risk of him being so deep in debt to countries like Russia, Turkey, Iran, etc is a big deal to me. I suppose if you accept his refusal to not share this with the country, you probably don't care about his terribly flawed character.
But, I hate no person, so your use of thepat word is wrong.
Lack of trust, total lack at this point makes me very very skeptical. He cannot nor has he gone a week without a lie
I must add this. I always found that in making judgements on people looking at there "idols" or mentors tells a lot.
Despite himself, when I hear him praise Alex Jones, and choose people like Steve Bannon to be his close advisor, it adds even more to my mistrust. They, as Trump, were famous and renowned before this election as conspiracy theorists, alt right extremist. Those views do not fit my view of America. I mentioned I do not hate,,,,these men not only hate, they have made careers out of promulgating it.

First off, I do apologize for using the word "hate" in referencing your post. You are correct, I don't think I've ever detected hatred in any of your posts. That was a big slip on my part - sorry.
You do make valid points on this subject matter and some of the same issues are of concern to me. My plan though is to try to be optimistic about where the country is going. As a result, I've made the decision to give it a chance and try not to make judgment too quickly. Not always one of my strong points, but nevertheless I'm going to give it a try. The one thing of most concern that I will be watching for does concern the statement I initially referenced in your post - will it be about the country or the individual? That in itself often tells me a lot about a person.

The Senate Intelligence Committee has the power to subpoena Trump's tax records to see what his connection is with Russia, among other things. These records will probably never be made public, but at least the investigators will know the facts.
On Sat Trump said he ' knows stuff that no one else knows', and this presumably includes the president. He will tell us what this is on Tues or Wed. The only way he could know stuff that nobody else knows is if he heard it from Putin, IMO.
Trump is running out of time, 18 days, to divest himself of all of his business interests or be possibly in violation of the constitution.

John McCain is not a US intelligent agency.
US intel agencies disagree on Russian election hacking | Main | English edition | Agencia EFE (http://www.efe.com/efe/english/portada/us-intel-agencies-disagree-on-russian-election-hacking/50000260-3124980)

What Trump’s Tax Returns Could Tell Us About His Dealings with Russia - POLITICO Magazine (http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/10/donald-trump-taxes-russia-214405)
But that’s very different from the claims that the Trump Organization was making before he decided to run for president.
Trump's son said in 2008 that “Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross section of a lot of our assets” and “we see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.”
Trump’s tax returns could reconcile the tension between these statements. Even if Trump really does have no loans from Russia and no business in that jurisdiction, what about other financial connections with Russians outside of their land? His statement does not rule out such ties, including shared partnership interests, equity interests, joint ventures or licensing agreements with Russia or Russians—both by Trump and his affiliated companies.
If we had Trump's tax returns, the documents could, for example, allow closer scrutiny of the widespread foreign deals licensing his name for projects and products. The needed vetting is not only a matter of who the foreign licensors are (including participants in partnerships and firms doing the licensing). It also concerns the critical question whether he is using offshore tax havens to own these licensing assets or shelter income from them. In his foreign licensing deals, Trump emphasizes the importance of political connections, Vanity Fair reported in August. “The nice part [of the licensing model] is you have local people, local developers: they know the government, they know the presidents of the country, the prime ministers of the country, and all of those things,” Trump said. “Now, I help them a lot: If they need zoning, and they say they are doing a Trump job, every single time they get their zoning because the government wants Trump.”
There are other problems with Trump's sole reliance on his 104-page campaign disclosure under the current circumstances. That document may be missing some foreign entities with which he is associated because of exclusions: The 278e need not show assets with losses, for example, if they no longer have a positive value. Given the way Trump does business, there may be many such assets that do show up on his tax returns, and that could reflect Russian or other foreign ties.
One other shortcoming of the campaign disclosure: It is a current report, which doesn’t go back before the reporting period. That period varies for the different parts of the 278e report, but is generally no longer than the preceding calendar year or two. By contrast, Hillary Clinton has provided 38 years of her tax filings. Given the heightened scrutiny called for by Trump's extraordinary statements about Russia, don't we need to know if he had Russian business dealings three or more years ago and what those dealings were?
Trump may counter these questions by asserting that his taxes contain no such information. But should we take his word for it, given his apparent support for Russian criminal meddling in our democratic process? Clinton did not ask people to trust her assertions of what was on her tax filings; she disclosed them. So has every other recent presidential candidate. Ronald Reagan’s adage for arms negotiations with the Soviets two decades ago was “trust but verify.”
Perhaps it is time for voters of all political persuasions to tell Trump the same thing that Reagan told Mikhail Gorbachev: no verification, no deal.
You're welcome.

Just guessing that the Senate Intelligence Committee will question Trump or his accountant about who huge sums of interest are owed. (Just like being asked for receipts during an audit)
BTW: how long does an audit normally take? As we move into the 2016 tax season, shouldn't the 2015 audits be finished?
Trump said he wants to release his tax returns as soon as the audit is complete. As president it would be dangerous to give even the appearance of impropriety.

I have always wondered about previous years. Previous Presidents have offered more than one year of taxes. I presume he is saying that ALL and EVERY year is under some kind of audit, OR he just does not care, such not caring aimed at US..the poor chumps that are supposed to trust him.
Listen, to the poster who seems to feel his/her 35 years of something should disqualify all of us who question the man, I offer FORTUNE who may have a bit more expertise than you...if not, I am sorry...but they said this way back in MARCH.....
"On the campaign trail, Donald Trump has said dealing with the nation's $18 trillion debt will be easy. One reason: Trump could just choose to ignore it. That appears to be how Trump has dealt with some of the debt on his own balance sheet.
You'd think that disclosing the total amount one owes would be an essential line item in any net worth statement, but that figure appears nowhere in Trump's most recently released balance sheet. The Donald does list a category called "loans and mortgages," but that number surprisingly excludes the debt Trump has on a number of buildings that he is a partial owner of, as well as debt he carries on a pile of assets that Trump says are worth over $300 million, but he just labels as "other."
In a previous story, I found that in public financial disclosures, Donald Trump was counting revenues from golf courses, hotel rooms, and sundry sources as “income.” Since Trump didn’t subtract salaries, utilities, maintenance and all the other routine costs, the big numbers he’s trumpeting aren’t income at all, but gross sales. Just as he was overstating his income, his financial statement appears to be understating the size of his debt. The Donald clearly believes that the public deserves no more than a murky view of his own debt picture.

And crybaby losers are still bit*hing about Trump's tax return. As if that is going to tell these tards anything that will help them feel justified in backing their election LOSER.
I think that Trump is starting a good new presidence change by telling them to kiss his @ss when they ask for him to release his taxes to the public. It has nothing to do with his being elected and is no one's business.
My question is why do clowns like you NOT want to see Trump's tax returns? Are you not curious what he's hiding?

Like I mentioned earlier, they are scared $hitless that they will discover that they voted for a scum...who is indebted to Putin and who knows what other world tyrants and despots.
Then again, they have already made so many excuses for the putrid actions of Trump, it's obvious that they idolize Trump...more than they love this great nation. :ohdear:

NO more curious than you were of Obie's background. No more curious than I am of your value. No, I do not have your type of wealth envy. I guess I would feel petulant and peevish too, if I had been a LOSER in this election. Maybe......:a20: Maybe not.
Then again, I am not a nosy busybody like you women on here.

Tell me how you LOVE this great nation? You voted for Obie didn't you? You must have very little regard for it. How have you served your country to show your great love, Can't No Mo?
Advice to you. Don't step into a hole that you can't climb out of, sister.
