A radical leftwing editorial. Big surprise...........not.
Hillary had absolutely NO policies or issues to run on. Trump had plenty. Trump won, done deal. Live with it or not, who cares? Why should conservatives be concerned with how you feel? As you can see, we have hardened up a bit since 2008.
Please don't submit garbage like this and then accuse the right of whining. You libtards will probably kill yourselves worrying about your loss. Please take a pill and get some sleep. Tomorrow is going to be a better day. Well, the day after Jan 20th, that is.

Let's see...Republicans win the White House by an overwhelming electoral college margin, They also have substantial majorities in both houses of congress and thirty three out of 50 governors are republicans. Thirty two out of fifty legislatures now have a republican majority in both houses including 17 with veto proof majorities.
Somehow this is not a mandate? Somehow the people still want to see some liberal democratic agenda?
It seems to me that the people have spoken and said "ENOUGH".

From the linked article:
Republicans opposed Obama and a Democratic Congress that had broad support. Democrats must now oppose Trump and a Republican Congress that lacks it.
If the democratic congress had such broad support why weren't more of them elected or re-elected?
How has this guy determined that the republican congress does not have broad support when they haven't even convened?
This writer needs to learn that you can't just make things up and say them. Although, I suppose there are enough on the left that want to believe this so they will.

Naw, these lefties that believe that the population supports socialism are just those that have read Trump's book where it says to keep repeating your dream until you achieve it. Only, they left out the part where they achieve it, forgetting that it was meant that THEY must work for it, not be given it. So, my message to the libtards is to KEEP DREAMING. Because, in your case that's all you will have. Be glad that you were able to get weed legalized in many states so now you can sit back and realize your dream.

Donald Trump was elected with the smallest majority (46%) in US history in a two person race. He enters the White House as the least popular president in history.
The funniest thing on TV today was a Trump spokesman saying Trump was cutting the size of the inaugural parade so he could get to the White House and end all of Obama's accomplishments.
In other words, nobody wants to march in the parade. This is the first time in history that zero DC bands have applied to march.

He does get very creative with facts.
One thing. The comedians are in for the time of their lives over the next four years. You could not have cast a worst President for many of us liberal progressives but the punsters are loving all this.
And I have not smoked pot since 1971. I tried it in sixth grade and inhaled but never much cared for it. I did get high from second hand MJ smoke are various concerts I attended over the years but that goes with the crowds who liked these musicians.

Once again Jan is talking out her @ss.
Hillary had the worst showing of any losing candidate in the past century. Look it up. She only beat Trump in about 13 states. She lost, live with or not, your choice.
As for the parade, so far there are over 8,000 to march in the parade. That's hardly "nobody" but if it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy about LOSING, I say go for it. Who am I to stand in the way of one's therapy?
Trump would rather be working. It would be better if they do away with all this copying of European royalty celebration and just televise the president getting sworn in at the Capitol in congress. It would be more dignified and less time consuming and costly.
Trump has already proven that he is a better president than Obie, before even being sworn in.
Jan, all the rec centers have dedicated a spot in each for a therapy area for the losers. It's got a sign on the door that says Ladies Restroom. Keep us updated on your progress.

Except for the 46% plurality, and the fact that no DC high school marching bands have applied to participate in the inauguration, none of the rest of this is true. You simply do not have those facts and are just giving what you surmise.
As far as DC high school bands, Washington DC is one of the most liberal cities in the country. This is like saying no bands from San Francisco or Provincetown, Massachusetts have applied to march. Ridiculous!
None of the ultra liberal Hollywood elite are going to appear either. Guess what? NO ONE CARES! This small percentage of people have been telling us how to think and how to vote for too long and too many people have finally stood up and said enough.
And of course, the percentage of the popular vote is meaningless. But I guess the liberals and democrats have to keep bringing it up since it's the only thing they "won". In other words, they won a contest that wasn't being run.
If it were a popular vote election, the campaigns would be run very differently. Trump knew what he had to do to win and Hillary evidently couldn't figure it out. I believe that if it were an election based on popular vote, he would have figured out how to win that as well. Because that's what he does, He figures out how to win.
Keep on ignoring the fact that Americans voted for republicans in a huge way at every level of government if it makes you feel better. But the fact is that Republicans, including Donald Trump have a very clear mandate.

Please, please, please keep believing this mandate stuff while Trump repeals Obamacare, effectively pulling the rug out from under 22 million enrollees and ends Medicare, another 55 million being thrown under the bus.
Trump pledges to do this in hour one of his administration, which will give the insurance companies time to mail those cancellation notices to anyone with private insurance, effective Feb 1, 2017.
The GOP has had six years to come up with their replacement plan and all we hear are crickets. Now their motto is 'Let them eat cake'.

Now ain't that the truth. How anyone can associate celebrity with intellectual prowess is beyond me. Well Sean Penn said...and it must be true because Paris Hilton said it too.
The founders intentionally made the process of policy making slow and arduous . However the partisan divide should not be so wide that we the people suffer fools
Progressive posters claim their was no mandate. Setting aside the proverbial "depends on whose ox is being gored", consider this.
By every measure, campaign finance, media bias favoritism, manipulation, etc., extended celebrity exposure for Hillary and against Trump, endorsement from a sitting president, manipulation of the DNC in favor of their favorite daughter Trump, an inexperienced politician won. Trump beat out 17 well known Republicans in the primary and the ubiquitous Queen of the Democratic party in a fair election
An honest and serious person would ask why. An honest and serious poster would tell you with the exception of California and New York the country wanted a hard right turn in direction because they believed we were moving in the wrong direction.
In my humble view it is a mandate/rejection against the progressive Democrat Party Platform that has imprisoned this nation for 8 years

Obamacare will be repealed and replaced with something that will actually work. Obamacare was a gift to the insurance companies and although 22 more people were insured, a percentage of them were done so against their will. Many of the lower tier programs in the exchanges are not worth the money that are paid for them. A huge percentage of those who bought insurance through the exchanges have seen their premiums raised as much as 125% while deductibles have risen.
It would be a good thing if 22 million people who wanted insurance were able to get it only if the could afford it. One of the biggest reasons that the Affordable Care Act has failed is that it is not affordable for either the insured or the government who is subsidizing some of them.
It's pretty easy to add a bunch of people to the list of insured when you make it a crime to not have insurance and have the government pay for a good number of them. The trick will be lowering the cost of health care so that almost everyone can afford coverage and then covering the very small number of people who can't afford it.

It's just plain unaffordable to simple add...to insure 22 million people...for free. It gets thrown on the taxpayers backs.
"Medicine" is an industry, a for profit industry...good luck getting the costs down. The problem is everyone charges/gets paid too much.
It's foolish to offer free healthcare to people who rely solely on the government for their lives. Why heal someone who the government provides housing, food, a phone, EVERYTHING they need to survive? It's crazy. It's like giving life sentence prisoners life saving healthcare.
Saving the poor is what is dragging the country down. The minorities are becoming the majority, from age 6 down they ARE the majority. The country is decaying, diversity is destroying us. Quotas are destroying us. From #1 to #25...and falling.

One can only hope for that. I wish someone would have thought to privatize SS a long time ago. And you are too late with privatizing the VA. There already IS an option to be treated by private providers IF the distance is unreasonable for gov service. Folks here in The Villages have been referred to local private medical providers. So, dont' get your panties in a wad, because it works.
I can hardly fault you for being too ignorant or blind to know about any other "initiatives" by the right. After all, the left is blind, period. At least, you seem blind since you are always led around by your superiors.

Of course they can always march in the streets, and stomp on the American flag. Good luck with that.

I think that most of us don't want you
Answer the question. Calling Trump...your new president: "Orange People Eater" isn't offensive? Of course it is. Only it's offensive to a white guy who can defend himself intellectually...as opposed to those whom YOU protect who can't.
Calling a "regular kid, a white kid, the star athlete, a name is ok. But calling a retard or a minority or a woman as name isn't ok.
Don't worry...I've got your "logic" down.

Here is a better resolution for you, learn how to write in Korean, "Barack Hussein Obama's only Legacy is that of the greatest Muslim terrorist ever."
Whatever his legacy, he was elected by the majority of the American people.....twice, and still enjoys one of the highest approval ratings of any outgoing POTUS. And remember, Lord Cheeto lost the popular vote!

Your Boy has been putting out false data on the economy for 8 years . The media has been in his pocket and aiding him with their
biased so called " surveys ".
The same sources for surveys who said Hillary could not lose !

There you go with the polls again. The only polls that Obie wins at are celebrity status polls. Everything else he has done has failed and no one approves of his policies. As far as I am concerned, any leader that is liked as a "good guy" or "funny" or "cool" is not doing his job. I would rather have a leader than someone that says he is going to "lead from behind" like some kind of fag.

The republicans have a mandate and will govern accordingly.

We will see what Trumpf does the coming year. My expectations are very low for this man judging him by his life of 70 years or so. You just expect this man to suddenly start caring about other people?

Apparently, you are pretty ignorant of anything regarding Trump, or you would know better. I really did think you were smarter, even though lack in common sense. You really should do your research before making these kind of ridiculous statements. I am not going to do your work for you, but the guy has done a lot more than most politicians, for other folks.

Gosh darn those pinko commie long-time government employees who work for the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Following your logic, after 81 straight months of positive private sector job growth expect a sudden downturn when Trump takes office. Why would the commie brigade print anything positive about him?

I read an article the other day that claimed O jobs count is very much inflated.
He's counting part time jobs which increased due to employers looking for part timers over full time due to O-Care
So three of his part time jobs is really one full time job.
So his real numbers are 1/3

Let's see...Republicans win the White House by an overwhelming electoral college margin, They also have substantial majorities in both houses of congress and thirty three out of 50 governors are republicans. Thirty two out of fifty legislatures now have a republican majority in both houses including 17 with veto proof majorities.
Somehow this is not a mandate? Somehow the people still want to see some liberal democratic agenda?
It seems to me that the people have spoken and said "ENOUGH".
Let's see how much positive legislation gets done. We now have a billionaires' government. Lets see what they do for the middle class.

Personally, I always believed that one should do for themselves. The left seems to think that the job of the government is to provide for them, when the reality is that the only Constitutional charter requirement is for the government to PROTECT us.

If those of us opposed to Obama had acted and called ugly names toward him before he even took office then you on the Left would have been super angry and attempting to get some type of anti-free speech law / regulation passed .
So the majority of what remains of the Blue Collar and Middle Class Segments of the voting population spoke and you are so determined to act shrill and attempt to delegitimize his election .
However please continue because you are off to a great start and those who voted for Trump are taking notice and will vote again in two years for The House . So please really keep it going .
Your girl failed to get out the voters in " The Hood " but the voters in the suburbs and especially the ones you look down upon because they are religious , turned out in high numbers and thus you lost .
Please by all means share your anger on any and all venues outside of the Villages . You have a lot of work to do and you really need to get your angry slurs posted in as many places as possible .

The left is made up of WOMEN and minorities...neither CAN do for themselves...that's why they demand the government do it for them.

It's what happens when liberals speak using their boogers for brains. And then they cry if we do not respond using their rule of PC.

Trump still continues to lie often. I just wish the Wall Street Journal Editor would do his job and let his writers point out those lies. That's being objective and actually being journalists rather than cheerleaders for Trumpf. They become Agents of Orange. Toxic to our democracy.

Most likely a woman said that...their emotions always get the best of them.
