We have been receiving a ton of unless email from people. Many are from comcast addresses, some are from AOL addresses. Many come from a web site called "tagged." We have no idea what the messages are about, but it's been 10 to 15 per day. Seems like they are coming from members. I don't think the members are aware that it's happening. I believe that some malware got into peoples email address list and is broadcasting this stuff.
I am guessing that some of our members are getting similar emails. Anybody have any idea?

Kim Komando just mentioned tag on her radio show. She said to delete, never open anything from tag. As far as coming from totv members, she did not say if it would be forwarded.

Who is Kim Komando? What kind of email? I get two or three a day from email addresses I don't recognize and I just delete them without opening.

I've had several "Tagged" emails from friends up north. Thinking it was legit, I tried to open, but of course, couldn't. I'm trying to find out if my friends really did send them.

According to McAfee they found no problems with the Tagged.Com site.
I received this link after a party yesterday where pictures were taken and downloaded it. Sorry if anyone here got invitations from me. I didn't knowthat would happen

TH, nothing here and I found out that I have almost 6000 e-mails in my deleted folder. Nothing from "tagged" .
Running the address I find that Snopes.com is registered to David Mikkelson, P.O. Box 648, Agoura Hills, CA 91376.

In the comments it reads "Promote your business to millions of viewers at only $1 a month. Learn how you can get an Enhanced Business Listing here for your domain name. Learn more at http://www,NetworkSolutions.com/"
Hope that helps.

Tagged.com is a site that entices you open the email where you then get a choice of answering yes or no. The email is from someone you know. Yesterday, I got sucked in because I WAS expecting some pictures so I went through the process but quickly discovered that it was a site that sells stuff, all kinds of stuff....but worst of all, it grabs your contact list and sends the email to EVERYONE in your contact list saying that you are sending them pictures. Soooo, I had to notify everyone in my contacts file NOT to open the email from tagged. I deleted everything off my my system including the cookie it left. So, I am tag free and wiser.
Don't open any email from tagged period.:beer3:

I never, NEVER, never open anything that has the FW --- stuff that has been forwarded from friend to friend, but its origin is probably unknown. I learned in my computer club that very often that it contains "malware" or "spyware" !!
