I'm trying to put an ad out to be a handyman in Wisconsin. Does anyone know if I need a licence or anything to do so? I'm a certified hvac technician as well.

I don't think a handyman needs a license, but I would for sure have some liability insurance. Which part of wisconsin you coming to? I live in kewaunee until June!

I'm wondering if it's related to Wisconsin, why you would be asking here since this is FL. That said, you could check with your local community standards to find out. I'm thinking for many projects you'd need a permit (just as is needed in T.V.) so you would also need a license to work.
