Shocker; Republicans want to gut the office designed to hold congress accountable. Who would have thought?
Trump complained with the timing of Republicans attempt to be gut the office not the content. Apparently, he wants them to do it later when no one is really watching.
Trump is really going to drain the swamp....... NOT.

Come on dirtbag, defend your republican party and your Putin Puppet. Explain why we need less ethics in politics? Why do you think it's the republican party who wants to gut the office? Answer the question dirtbag.

Hey hipo, are you too lazy to include a link to your statement as proof of your accusation? Or, did you reword your thoughts to your own agenda like a typical libtard?

Laughable name calling is only a method used by those who have no facts to support their argument, or don't have the intelligence to use logic and rational thought. It doesn't change the fact that the Republicans in Congress tried to gut the Ethics Office. That's well documented. Now why would they do that? Yeah, I think you know. Wait and see. The public will smack their hands and they will back off that little move.

I just want to make sure I understand:
You made a statement, I asked you a relevant question (Where did you hear that Trump wanted to do away with the ethics committee?), instead of answering my question you pose a question to me...
Answer my question and I will be happy to answer yours, but I suspect you made your statement up and have no way to back it up with facts...just more of you and your (unt girlfriend BS.

The outcry from social media this morning, against the GOP doing that, caused them to rescind it.

I understand that they make a medication that will assist you in formulating and getting your thoughts in order. I'm sure that they make a generic form if you can't afford it.

By social media you are referring to not yet President Trump that put a stop to it.
"With all that Congress has to work on, do they really have to make the weakening of the Independent Ethics Watchdog, as unfair as it may be, their number one act and priority," he said on Twitter on Tuesday.

Don't worry, TRUMP put a stop to it. You can relax now. Trump is there for ya.

There is more to this story than we are witnessing on our news channels. Something tells me this Panel was more about protecting their own than upholding their ethical obligations..but I could be wrong. time will tell

Who would have "thunk" it ?? The first bill the Republicans put forward for passing was a bill to remove the power of the ethics board. You talk about unbelievable, Republicans want no agency checking on their accepting bribes, lying and cheating !!!! Have we eledcted a bunch of crooks or what ???

Before you go any further, you should probably go back and read up on what you are talking about.
And actually, it was Trump that got them to put it aside.

Sure, like that would make a difference to ANY politician. It was Trump that got it put aside. Try reading once in a while.

Doesn't surprise me in the least.
Just look around here and you'll see that same mentality.
I think the real irony being that some of those in the GOP that pushed it, probably thought they were helping Chump and the ethical problems he's about to have the minute he's sworn in...but he's too stupid to understand that. :1rotfl:

if you can read, his tweets say the ethics committee is unfair but doesn't need to be first priority. that says it all
