Need transportation to and from Miami May-June

The bus lines that ordinarily bring us to and from the cruise ports are seasonal and are operating up north by mid-May. We need round-trip transportation later than that. Can anyone recommend a private car service or some other means of getting there and back that they've used and found reliable? Many thanks!

I'd be reluctant to rely on Uber to get to a cruise--and get back from a cruise. Wonder if anyone has used a local private car service worth recommending? Any suggestions?

No suggestions for private car service, but there's always Amtrak from Wildwood. However, I'd leave a day early so you'd be sure to get there in time. Could stay over in Miami that night and have a good time before boarding the ship next day. Yes, it's weird, but I like Amtrak.

UBER is being used here in The Villages to go to the Dr, the grocery store, when your golf cart dies and you need a ride home. Also if you want to go to one of the Town Squares when "Scooter" is there and you can't find a parking place, try UBER! We will drop you off and pick you up! Want to party with friends, try UBER!
