What are thoughts on which of these carts would ride the best and have the best range.

Don't know about the P5 but the 2017 Tomberlin carts are now an excellent value...I like it better than the Star Magellan. They finally have good engineers over there :)
I have a Yamaha AC cart with the 6x8V battery setup and it has a range of 60 miles. As a test, I drove 52 miles before it dropped to one bar on my charge meter.
Both those carts you mentioned have a 8x6V battery setup with efficient AC motors (Only buy a cart with an AC motor...AC is more efficient, powerful, quiet, and brushless (nothing to wear out). You will get at least 20% farther range with an AC motor). The 8x6V setup has higher capacity than the Yamaha AC so you should be able to get at least a 70 mile range on a full charge.

Sounds like a nice cart. I wish they were available to test drive in TVS. No car so it becomes difficult to test.
