Comcast or Embarq

:2excited: We will be making settlement on our home next week and are trying to decide on whether to go with Comcast or Embarq for the triple play package :shrug::shrug: any feedback would be appreciated.

Congratulations.............welcome!!! We cannot believe we are finally here also --We are newbees (Feb 09) and found that Comcast could not offer us package due to fact we were told they did not have telephone service to TV. However our Comcast Internet and television service has been good. We decided on Vonage as it offered us free long distance for 24.99 per month but must be hooked to computer. Our neighbors have Embark and are happy but pay $50 for unlimited long distance.

Comcast seems to be slow in getting their phone service into the newer locations in TV. At any rate we do have a triple package with Comcast and aside from the price we are happy with it all. Did call them a couple of weeks ago to complain about the cost and they are giving us a $25 per month price break for the next 6 months.

Hi Carole, One of your neighbors gets unlimited long distance from Embark for $15 per month and no cost during sno bird time.
