behind the letter of the law:

As they are trained they believe. Because he was not charged with perjury he now holds that he is a legitimate candidate to stay in office and run in 2010...even though the court may have not charged him with purgery (the circled wagons benefit!!) he is a known lying weasel.

That is what is wrong with Washington. They know how to use/hide behind/and abuse the letter of the law...WITHIN THE LAW!!!

Hence we have a house and senate with cheaters, tax evaders, whore mongers, lechers, philandering law breakers supposedly looking after our interests....BS.

So I guess we will have to wait and see, like all the other dregs, if time is on his side. What do I mean....enough time will have gone by that we the people will very likely re-elect him and he like all the rest of the free loading dishonest examples of America getting away with it......solidify their club.

Lawyers for lawyers....we the people get what they deserve for doing nothing...consistently and unfortunately.

Of the 545 representatives and senators, lawyers constitute 36% of that number. The other 64% are then "innocent" folk......

A sense of humor can help you overlook the unattractive, tolerate the unpleasant, cope with the unexpected, and smile through the unbearable.

Steve, I have to question where you got that statistic from? I went and looked at them all about 6 months ago and the number was closer to 75% were lawyers. Perhaps your number is currently holding an active license to practice and mine was law degree. Not sure, it was a while ago. Where did you get your number?

UPDATE: Of the 13 Members of the House of Representatives from FL, 5 are lawyers (Alcee Hastings, Lincoln Diaz-Balart, Robert Wexler, Kathy Castor and Gus Bilirakis. Both FL US Senators (Bill Nelson and Mel Martinez) are lawyers. Several Representatives have received "honorary law degrees" from various institutions.
