Moving to Bonita

I know a couple of folks who live on Heathsprings Drive and I think you will get used to them quickly, even though they raise snakes and have rock band practice twice a week on the lanai.

We'll be closing by mail so that our little boys, (my cats), have a home ready to go to, and don't have to wait in the car. I'm sure they are going to love the drive down from NJ......NOT!!!!! lol. We sold our house in NJ last July. While deciding what to bring or not bring, we applied the"5 second rule." Decide where it will be used within 5 seconds or we didn't need it. Saved us a lot of grief and time and $$$ for the move!

We are still in the planning stage, doing our Lifestyle visit July 25th for a week. I am thinking I like that rule and will start now.

don't know if you have a Rep. yet. my wife and I just got back from our LSV we had PJ Martin who was outstanding. Listened to what we wanted should us as many models as we wanted to see then when we narrowed it down he gave his input and offered some suggestions. It really went very smooth.

Wife & I just got back last night. Were done to check on our house on Heath Springs. The neighborhood is really building up nicely. The neighbors we met at both the pool and LSL were all very cheerful and pleasent. Can't wait to get down next month. 35 days but who's counting. The house next to us was getting painted and having the driveway poured, several on Boiling Springs were moving right along, things are really looking up. Weather was beautiful outside of a few Heavy Thunder storms but that's what keeps everthing so nice and green. See you all soon.

Wow!! I can't believe this thread I started is still going. My wife and I have been living in our home in Bonita 3 weeks today. Time flies when you're having fun, as they say. We went to a get together dinner at Red Sauce last week. I don't know if any of my fellow bloggers were there. I really only got to really talk to a few couples for more than a few minutes. We're having a great time now that the unpacking is about done.

Everybody!!....Welcome to lovely active Bonita. It's 13 months since I became a Villager and Bonita resident and started this thread and love the way the neighborhood has grown. We have great great neighbors and have made many friends to pal around with and play golf with etc, etc. A great village and a great decision to move here.

Welcome to Bonita. After having lots of empty unsold homes around the neighborhood it seems that The Villages is finally selling the homes. I've seen two families move in on the street next to me just in the past couple of weeks.
