We got a new mattress and boxspring and the boxspring makes it too tall. It now cluttering up the guest room. Need ideas for getting rid of it. Someone who will pick it up. my understanding is Goodwill etc. don't want bedding. Is Craigslist an option?

Did you buy it locally? The same thing happened to us sometime ago. Mattress Firm, where we got it, gladly exchanged it for a shorter box spring.

We had that happen and the bed store we bought it from came out and switched it for a lower one.

Bargains & Treasures bought my 2 year old mattress and boxspring (in perfect shape) and sold it for me and I got around a hundred dollars back when it sold. It sold in around 2 weeks. They came and got it.
