CaribbeanAl:

I have used a lot just north of the Beachway (SR528) which was inexpensive. But, I wasn't happy with their spasmodic shuttle service, so have recently bitten the bullet, so to speak, and used the Satellite Blue lot, accessible just after you leave the Beachline and enter airport grounds.

Yes, they charge $10 per day. Yes, they don't have any covered spaces. Yes, sometimes their shuttles are slow (on my last reurn, they stuffed too many people into the small bus; the rest of us waited nearly 20 minutes for a larger vehicle, which ended up being over-full, as well). But, it's convenient and IMHO worth it.

Note, though, that I don't necessarily use this lot or any other when my stay will cost me $10 or more than what a round-trip plus taxi would cost me on The Villages shuttle. That'd be close to $100. So, if I expect to be gone ten days I'll usually drive myself. Much longer and I'll probably use the shuttle!

Find a motel near the airport that has shuttle service and allows free parking in their lot while you are gone. A good nights rest, takes away a lot of travel stress.

I just used this company end of last month, was happy with the service.
10.5 Days cost $78 roughly as I remember.
They have a coupon that you can print to get best price.

We use Continental Parking through the Parktofly.com website and are very happy with the service; saves about 40% off the long term rates at the airport; and we call for the shuttle that picks us up when we arrive at the airport, to take us to the lot, and it is there in less than ten minutes.

Both on Narcoosee, which intersects with 528 - one exit past the airport entrance (east of airport):

Park to Fly: 7900 Narcoosee $5.92/day, $39.95/week, plus 10% airport tax and 6.5% sales tax. http://parktofly.com/special.html

Continental: 7948 Narcoosee $5.49/day plus 10% airport tax and 6.5% sales tax http://www.aboutairportparking.com/continental-airport-parking-mco-airport-parking

Both have online specials, so best to reserve over the internet. They do not take your credit card number, so no penalty if you do not show up. Both have good shuttle service. For the price I like Continental. Once I returned to find my battery was dead. They immediately jump-started the car for no cost.

This past week we used Sunshine Car Rental as an airport parking lot. It worked out great and the price was even better. About $4.50 a day. We found them at airportparkingreservations.com (found it on the parksleepfly.com site). They listed a bunch of choices and all of them had great ratings so we picked the cheapest. We did have to leave a key with them but they were fast and efficiant. I would use them again in a minute. Karen

What kind of car was that? I think I rented it. Thought it was a great deal. But, guess they have to make money some way.

If it's for a long period try the following. Rent a vehicle from Enterprise, drop it off in TV. Do the same when traveling to MCO. We have used it and worked great.

We have used parktofly many times and their service has been great. One time my husband left his cell phone in the car. We called them they got the phone had it on the very next shuttle for us , in total took maybe 15 minutes at most.

This service keeps your keys? Or did you leave the car unlocked?

I don't like leaving the keys with anyone.

Have used Payless Parking on McCoy Road for several years. Open 24/7 with easy pick up at both terminals. Rates are competitive, they offer a discount for AAA Members and a frequent parker program that rewards you with free parking after so many days.
