I'm seeing Dr James Young for prostate enlargement issues. One of his treatments is a newer treatment called rezum. Hope for input on experience with Doctor or procedure. Thanks

There seems to be alot of information about this treatment online, including effectiveness, pain level, side effects, etc. Hopefully someone with personal experience will come along with a first hand perspective. Good luck with whatever treatment you settle on.

I think the current standard comparable treatment is called green light laser, which replaced the old "roto-router" treatment. Rezum is a very new treatment which I don't think has a proven track record yet. However, if you haven't tried a medical alternative, Finasteride and Flomax are excellent drugs, especially Finasteride.

I had the Rezum procedure done by Dr Young in October and couldn't be happier with the results.
