The Past Is Difficult To Predict

In a response to one of my posts on another thread a progressive poster remarked that perhaps I'd rather go back to 1920.

Speaking of going back...

There is an old saying about Russian socialist", "the past is difficult to predict". the progressives (socialist) via academics, Hollywood sycophants and government follow that same Russian path and have been hard at work to re-write American history. Their primary goal has been to discredit white men's contributions to our society The founders all white men are the originators of our Republic, its laws, its Three Articles of Freedom, etc. Radical progressives hate whites to the extent they in some cases desire to wipe them out of the history books altogether or portray the simple as evil doers. Its all like 1984.

Take note of the movies/television shows being developed over the last few years. Suddenly women become the main heroic protagonists with combative skills that would make the character "superman" look puny. and white men too often portrayed as puny and dullards. White cops are always corrupt and have a racial bias

My post to the above-mentioned progressive poster talked in part about the wuss-ification of men by feminist whose real motivation was not equality but a master/servant relationship because they really detest men.

I believed the feminist movement WAS NEEDED and I can offer a personal story as to why. but again progressives over reached.

I like strong women. I married a strong woman . Our marriage has always worked because we complement one another . I hired strong and ambition women.

Research the curriculum in many universities and you will get a glimpse of what I mean. At the University of Madison, WI they have introduced a new course about the problems associated with White Power . There is another University with pretty much the same course, I believe its Austin TX but I am not sure.

This is dangerous stuff being conducted by radial progressive the kind of activity that can disintegrate a society.

Affirmative action, quotas...THAT is what is disintegrating our society.

Not only does Hollywood portray women as "superwomen", but it also portrays minorities as "supermen". Which is BLATANTLY false...they can't even get into school or get a decent job without a quota. What does that tell you about reality?

Many believe that a woman CAN equal a man...in intelligence and strength. When they don't even come close. Many believe minorities are equal to whites...when again, they don't even come close.

It's NOT discrimination...it's their lack of ability.

As some of you well tenured posters recall we once, before, had a political forum but a few destroyed it too and the offending posters were thrown off TOTV.

Is it any wonder why more members of TOTV will not participate?

And, given the above-stated quote is it any wonder why more people will not socialize beyond this Board?

These offending posters on Political Talk simply can't grasp the concept of civility. Indeed as one poster aptly stated to one of them. "It is a frightening thought that you may be my next door neighbor."

They cannot grasp that many posters are on TOTV for an exchange of information, sharing of ideas, the passing of time and that any and all of our opinions are like rain drops that disappear once they hit the Atlantic Ocean.

One wonders why they are so invested but it is painful to bear witness to their continual meltdowns . It is also annoying to see that they disrupt this Board with their adolescent prattle, disruption that may lead to the ending of Political Talk once again.

I pray Admin isolates these offending parties gives them warning that if they violate the rule of no personal attacks again they will be removed from TOTV permanently

I don't agree. If you have someone policing the forum, then you do not get honesty. The only way you get real civility is when face to face. But, do you get honesty?

There is nothing on here that says you have to reply or discuss issues with someone that is rude. If you do not like what I say, or think it rude, then don't answer. Sometimes, I get sucked into the TROLL's trap and I strike out defensively in defense. It happens. I am guilty of rude replies. I do not get rude because someone disagrees with me. I get rude when I say something and the poster that does not agree with me makes a rude reply. I don't agree. If you have someone policing the forum, then you do not get honesty. The only way you get real civility is when face to face. But, do you get honesty?

There is nothing on here that says you have to reply or discuss issues with someone that is rude. If you do not like what I say, or think it rude, then don't answer. Sometimes, I get sucked into the TROLL's trap and I strike out defensively in defense. It happens. I am guilty of rude replies. I do not get rude because someone disagrees with me. I get rude when I say something and the poster that does not agree with me makes a rude reply. I get what you're saying. It has happened to me too. I would not want anyone to be banned over a mishap or 3, that's not my point. The past IS gone...replaced by politically correct equality hell...where EVERYTHING is scrutinized to see if ANYONE could be "offended". A place with standards so lowered, we're now #25.

I still have conservative values and have great fear of our budget deficit just exploding. I will praise Trump if he does something, but this constant re doing the campaign is not going to cut it. He has proposed to build that wall no matter what it costs us taxpayers and I suppose you feel he will invade Mexico if they tell him again to shove it. Of course if it is his ego, he may.

Maybe someday using REAL facts, reading both sides you might even talk about our exploding budget which we cannot maintain OR even talk about trying to inssist on honesty in government.

Let's be clear...

Plagiarism, i.e., producing word for word another's words and presenting them as yours is a huge violation of, at minimum, TOTV rules. And repeating it after being caught makes it worse.

Then, remarking how you, as a poster, cannot control how your thoughts are...Word for word....the same as another who happens to write on the net. That goes beyond my believability.

To then, take offense to someone who happens to disagree with you, but NEVER criticize, posts that defy imagination in racism, lying, etc....sort of is alarming at minimum.

I realize that you do not see lecturing to others as personal attacks, those you choose to lecture do, and while you do not usetheir name, but make it clear to whom you speak. I suppose you see your posts as a civil duty, or a calling of sorts. You surely create that feeling by speaking down to anyone who in anyway might disagree with you.

I also must add, that you are totally silent on any other personal attacks and name calling EXCEPT in the case of yourself. I quit posting because I was getting sucked into the non discussion on this board because every post I made was followed by a personal,name calling assault because of my views. Accusations of plagiarism are made in the same manner as accusations such as "when did you stop beating wife"? Such close end questions are self serving and a smarter person would just ignore them. A liberal reporter cornered Jeb Bush with a closed end question and Jeb bit.
