Well well well I guess when Mike Pence becomes president he can pursue his agenda but for now he works for Trump.
As for the ban the US Constitution does not apply to foreigners only legal citizens of this nation.
By the way you may want to explain this contradiction
Obama heavily relied on the concept of disparate impact when applying it to blacks applications for rents housing, etc. Yet he did not apply this same concept to the proportion of Muslims to Christians he allowed to enter this nation from the Middle East . Hmmmm

You should site where that quote came from. The total ban as you sited is 6 countries. The top ten countries measured by the actual number of Muslins within their population accounts for 67.2% of the world's Muslims. Of those 10 countries the only one of the 6 banned countries is Iran.
Furthermore without putting anymore effort into this I doubt the executive order says "ban on Muslims". I think it names a ban on 6 countries of which some Christians are included. And to your point yes Pence is right a ban on "Muslims" is probably unconstitutional but he did not say that is what just happened.

I am so tired of the bigotry and stupid comments from people who live in their own shell and have no idea of the truth of why we have problems with the middle east. Get information and get educated and you will find out why our country was so complicit in theses world problems. In 1953 the US sent CIA operatives to Iran an toppled the first democratic government in Iran's history. For our own selfish motives (OIL).
You wonder why they hate us.... do some research and learn the truth.
it is attitudes like yours that put us in the sad situation that we are in. We have an idiot for a president and more idiots elected. him.

You sound unhappy and full of hate Alibaba...why don't you move to Iran where there are no idiots? Oh, never mind they are a country of idiots...
Those people that commit these terrorist acts are cowards that spent too much time around the hookah. They blow up, or shoot, innocent people. They don't challenge an individual, they walk into a coffee shop and blow themselves up, and anyone else in there for coffee and donuts. I call anyone that does not want to address that issue the prime example of an idiot. Those people in the coffee shop probably would have kicked the guys ass if they had the chance - the terrorists are COWARDS!

In what way is the ban on immigrants from countries that are breeding ground for anti American terrorists unconstitutional?
This ban only prevents people from seven countries from entering the US for 90 days. It says nothing about Muslims. In fact the most populous, Muslim majority countries are not on the list.

They're HARDLY cowards...they physically...by themselves...alone...take out a bunch of "the enemy" in a single "shot".
I bet YOU wouldn't do it. You don't want YOUR hands dirty at all...you HIRE people...the military...to do YOUR dirty work for you.
I disagree with you here dirt...WE are the cowards for being afraid to REALLY deal with Islam the way it needs to be dealt with. The crusades should have finished them off. Mercy may destroy us...like it is with the blacks/Hispanics we have in our own country. Our kindness may kill us. Remember...no good deed goes unpunished.

Some of that might make some sense if we were having a problem with the governments of those countries. However most of the problems with terrorism have to do with radical Islamists who are not part of the official government of those countries. In fact, in Iraq and Syria, the terrorists are trying to oust the current governments and turn them into Muslim theocracies.
Oil has nothing to do with any of this. We only get a small percentage of our oil from the Middle East.

You would not shoot up a room of unsuspecting Blacks and Hispanics would you Don? The answer is no because you are not a pu$$y.
You don't like them so you moved to the Villages where there are very few, but you don't shoot at the few in the square and you don't blow them up in a coffee shop.
Now if a guy (any guy) spit on your golf cart you would "man up" and have some words with that individual. But you would not take unsuspecting bystanders lives because he spit on your golf cart.

Those "governments" are as corrupt as ours...the "bad guys" are the actual people rising up like our American revolution. But since they're against the government we work with...they're the bad guys. Except Syria, there it's the "government" who turned rogue against us, and we're helping the "people"...really guys who will work for us...take over.
Oil has EVERYTHING to do with it...oil is THE lifeblood of the world. NOTHING happens without oil...NOTHING.
That oil doesn't go here...we get ours from CA, MX, VN, here on out own continent. But our CUSTOMERS...they need that oil...so we make sure they get it.
The whole "Russian" thing is all about Russia's control and leverage of natural gas, the Russians have it and Europe wants it...reliably without having to always bow down.
The "news" is ALL "fake"...don't even turn it on. Unfortunately, staying informed takes work. EVERYONE "spoon feeding" you the "news" is feeding you their spin, their agenda, propaganda.
You would not shoot up a room of unsuspecting Blacks and Hispanics would you Don? The answer is no because you are not a pu$$y.

Context dirt! Context!
Blow up a crowd for spitting? A liberal might if you called someone a n!@@3r...only they are that emotionally unhinged.
These terrorists have a cause...they're fighting the way they have to fight. It's their ONLY way of bringing attention to their cause. If they didn't blow something up, would anyone know they were there? Would you know about Palestinians if they didn't blow things up? The continuing Iraq and Afghanistan problems if they didn't blow people up? It's what they do in the ME...they bomb.
We have shootings, they have bombings...know why? Everyone is armed there, a shooter would last less than a minute. So, for effect and impact...ar ar...they blow everyone up.
I might...in 25 years IF the country has fallen into a 3rd world hell...I just might pick up arms and do my part. I had to do it before...this time would be for MY people and not foreigners. But again...context...it would be a different world then, there wouldn't BE people sitting around in coffee shops, it would be a 3rd world hell...like the place the "terrorists" live. Isn't it funny how things circle around, cause and effect? I might do in their world, what they do in mine...
"Terrorists" are the least of our worries in America today...the looming black/hispanic majority SHOULD be our biggest worry...it IS changing your country. Eventually, into a 3rd world hell.
Visit the barrio, MLK Blvd to see Americas future...they're the majority below age 7. Biden said we're already not a majority in a speech link I posted earlier.

On Friday he signed an executive order on refugees that imposes a selective ban on immigration from seven Muslim-majority countries as well as establishes preferential treatment for refugees seeking asylum who are identified with “minority religions” in their country of origin.
In case there was any doubt about the latter provision’s intent, Trump told Christian Broadcast News that it was intended to give priority to “Christians” seeking asylum over “Muslims.”
And you're OK with this unconstitutional discrimination?

Well ColdNoMore I appreciate you referencing your sources. I'm big enough to admit I thought we were talking about the executive order banning Muslims not some ancient news from Dec 7th 2016. Me bad did not digest your first post. My best guess is that the executive order only references countries and not religions. If it did some court would have stopped it in a heartbeat. Now let's clarify that statement. The stop orders I that are being instituted pertains to people trapped in middle of travel not the entire executive order. At least not yet. Looks like the courts would need to prove racial discrimination based upon country of residence. That's a pretty tall order. Of course I put nothing past our system anymore. All it takes is to proclaim an action in the name of homeland security which in my book is synonymous with we can throw the rules out the window without input from we the people.
And ColdNoMore I also appreciate the moniker Ol'buddy. Truthfully I have SomeWarmingUp to do before reciprocation.

Yea OK truce. It's funny to observe the conclusions people draw from these social media tools. Instant reward society. 160 word tweet and that becomes the entire bible, both testaments. Then we (me included) get to snippet that. So FYI I am not far right. Don't know what I am. Probably somewhere in the middle. Never been loyal to one political party. What did I learn from this last election? The two party system is dividing this country more than the candidates. What kind of democratic system would allow for the political party to make their own rules on how to elect the person we the people want. Really does America think the two candidates that we voted on were the best this country has to offer? I will confess I am a registered Republican that's because my wife is a registered Democrat and we were from a small rural area. My philosophy was why not both parties wouldn't want to miss a good party just in case. Also I am not a Trump lover nor am I a Trump hater. Now to answer your question about Trump banning an entire religion. I would not be for that. Trump does say some pretty stupid things like your video illustrates. I do believe he is a pretty vain individual however how much of it is firing for effect ? I don't know. One thing for sure if you want to lead you got to beat the other guys to get the position. Reminds me of the kids when they were small, "look at me, look at me". Again I don't think the executive order says no Muslims I think it probably says no travel from countries X Y Z. Also it is not forever - 90 days if I understand it correctly. My gut says a whole ban on the Muslim religion is not what is going on here but some intelligence is got a reason to pick spots of caution. Then there is the campaign promises made to save face aspect. I learned few things in life are black and white no matter how bad I want it to be that way.
One of the best advices ever given to me that I think suits this new adventure we are on is corny but cleaver "you can't drive the car looking out the rearview mirror".

I have heard a lot of references to the constitution. Can you site the section, please? My understanding is that the constitution applies to the citizens and not all the people in the world. Do the constitutions of other countries also govern the citizens of the US in the US?
EXACTLY...that is why the anchor babies are illegal too. "Under the jurisdiction" has been corrupted to include ANYONE. legal or illegal who drops a kid here.
And just to let you know Rusty Ol' buddy, the original intent of Trump...WAS to ban only Muslims. :ohdear:
No less than the guy he asked to draft the language (Giuliani)... admitted to it.
I'm guessing Chump will be in a rage...about Rudy opening his mouth about that. :D
And yes, as usual...I have the proof. :ho:
Giuliani: Trump asked me how to do a Muslim ban 'legally' | TheHill (http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/316726-giuliani-trump-asked-me-how-to-do-a-muslim-ban-legally)
So now tell me, do you think discriminating against a particular religion...is constitutional?
Or more importantly, do you think it's right...and what America should stand for?
If you don't, are you willing to condemn Chump for trying to do it?
If you do, then I expect you're a fan of that elected populist guy (like Trump) who came up with a 'Final Solution'...for that religion he didn't like.
I'm guessing though, that now that you're part of the group I mentioned above about getting egg on their face...you will not reply to these questions.
No charge for the education.
The Constitution wasn't designed to be a "suicide pact". If a "religion" is shown to be detrimental to the nation, it SHOULD be banned along with its followers.
I could create a religion tomorrow called "Anarchy" with the religious doctrine that God wants us to bring down the government. Should it be allowed to practice freely?
You women and your emotions...it's why we don't let you play in games that matter.
Sure you can...IF...your desire is to go backwards. And that IS the direction the US has been going for the last 60 years...since the "civil rights" acts of the 60s. We've gone steadily down hill...from #1 to #25.
White MEN made this country...and made it great. As we leave, it gets worse...pure cause and effect.
Great work!

On Dec. 8, 2015, just one day after Trump called for a "total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States"
mike pence said
"Calls to ban Muslims from entering the U.S. are offensive and unconstitutional."
I guess the constitution changed.
I don't understand the problem. No one has banned Muslims from entering this country, unless they come from one of the seven countries that President Obama cited as training grounds for terrorists.
Just to be clear, people of other religious backgrounds from those countries are banned as well. But, Muslims from the other forty countries that have Muslim majority populations are not banned.
So please explain, how is this a ban on Muslims?

You just took the bait like I did. Read the original post. It references Dec 7 2016 not the executive order of Jan 28 2017. ColdNoMore did produce the evidence that Trump did make that statement on Dec7 and Pence followed up on Dec 8. Why we are talking about the old news Vs. the new news is not clear.

Correction the old news is really old news Dec 7 2015 per The Washington Post not 2016 as I stated.

Really?
I guess you choose to ignore my post #30, whereby Giuliani HIMSELF said that Trump wanted it the Executive Order to apply to just Muslims and Toady Rudy had to reword it...because even he knew it was unconstitutional. :ohdear:
Make no mistake, it WAS Chump's intention to ban all Muslims...as even Giulani stated such.
I'm sure Trump is livid at Giuliani letting this slip...but it's too late now. :D
The real question being, why are you and others going to such lengths to lie about what Trump's real intent was...and why you seem to be OK with it?

Because Islam is incompatible with western civilization? How's that? You HATE living under "white oppression"...yet you'd trade it for Islamic oppression? Which is orders of magnitude harsher? You WANT to wear a burka in Florida in the summer? It's hard to golf in one...or play tennis. Have you seen the stylish "burkini" Burkini - - Yahoo Image Search Results (https://images.search.yahoo.com/yhs/search;_ylt=A0LEVivqZ49Y_7sAOXYnnIlQ;_ylu=X3oDMTE0 cXB0czh2BGNvbG8DYmYxBHBvcwMxBHZ0aWQDUFJEQkNLMl8xBH NlYwNzYw--?p=Burkini&fr=yhs-mozilla-005&hspart=mozilla&hsimp=yhs-005)
Yes...I'm OK with keeping Muslims out. I'm also OK with kicking the 100 million Hispanics out. I'm OK with elimination of habitual welfare and ending affirmative action and quotas. I think women should be home teaching their children and not out pretending to have a "career" pushing papers around. While their kids are raised by Latwanda, the 3rd worlder from Somalis or Rosita who speaks no recognizable English.
How about you...you OK with that?

WHAT are your "American ideals"...seriously, I want to know...when you think of "America" what do you envision it being?
Like a Norman Rockwell painting? My vision.
Or the border towns of Tijuana or Juarez? Our mathematically certain future IF the Hispanic invasion continues unabated. They ARE the majority below age 7 already. They WILL change the country.

Muslims, blacks, Hispanics...ALL make things WORSE...yet liberals want MORE of them.

Oh please... I ADMIT I'm a "racist"...I'd like them all gone, if I could, I'd rapture them away.
I want a white Norman Rockwell paradise...the villages is the closest I've found that "I" can afford...but it's changing...with size comes the problems of size. Can you imagine how different the villages would be if it was diverse? It wouldn't be what it is now...that's for sure.
Check the ratings/rankings for the 99% white villages to ANY place of the same size, with a lot more diversity. We win hands down EVERY time.
Because white people are better at building/running things than anyone else. We get along better. We care about how/where we live. Brown people do not.
Don't tell me about the 10 black people who live here...explain to me the hundreds of 99% black places that are dirty, dangerous, illiterate, poverty stricken, hell holes.
YOU run away...or come back with some lame BS that make YOU feel like you "won". Nobody "wins" on the internet...the only way we "win" is if we stop the Hispanic invasion and stop the quotas that have brought us down to #25.
I'm guessing all I'll get get is name calling of some stupid typo I did...

My God! You're clever Cledd!
Tell me WHY I shouldn't be...what do they bring to the table? An empty plate for me to fill? The need for a place to stay? They even want me to provide them with a damn phone!
Blacks as a race are a net drain wherever they go. Name me ONE place that doesn't hold true...
Slavery is the ONLY time they produce more than they take. Disagree? Show me where they're a net gain. Show me the black paradise where YOU would want your granddaughter to attend school alone.
