There are a couple that are in in the pond just South of the first tee of Palmer Riley Grove. You can see them from the recreation trail along Buena Vista Blvd.

This is the best place I know to have a good chance to see some. They are around a sand hill in the water on the Northwest side of the pond. Many people pull off the recreation trail and take photos of them. Perhaps the most photoed gators in The Villages.

Going north on Morse and just before you get to the bridge at Lake Sumter, there's a small pond on the right with a wall seperating it from the larger body of water. I've seen one in there several times. Also the pond at 466 and Morse at the SE section has one there too.

That little sand bar is now covered with water...haven't seen any all week...probably sunning themselves in the high grass.

Mr. Judy saw a big one being harassed by herons in the pond near holes 4, 5 & 6 at Turtle Mound today. He said the herons had the gator surrounded and they were causing quite a ruckus.
