"The White House announced Tuesday that President Trump will continue a 2014 Obama-era order protecting LGBTQ employees who work for federal contractors from workplace discrimination."

At least trump is doing something right.

If you say so. It should not have been an issue, considering it is federal law that pertains to discrimination.

Sexual PREFERENCE should NOT be protected. It's a mental illness.

I agree, but the law is made by legislators that take the highest bids, right?

Why is it that every time I see this abbreviation there seems to be a new letter added to it?

What I find amazing about this discussion is that the left has pushed it to the forefront of our consciousness when it affects so few people.

It's a non issue except that it might mean votes in some districts.

Most Americans simply don't care about it.

Hate directed at anyone is simply wrong.

What i find objectionable about this issue is that 9 unelected judges should not have made such a societal pronouncement . striking down DOMA was a serious mistake.

They added the "Q" for Queer. A word that they are allowed to use but normal folks can't. Kind of like the "N" word allowed by blacks but not by whites. Totally a PC issue, for sensitive folks. In the past Queer encompassed all of them, but now there is sub groups within the whole. Gender confused kids are not considered gay, therefore do not fit within the Queer criteria, etc, etc. Or did I get that wrong? Who knows.
