Over and over Republican supporters complained about the cost of security when the Obamas went on vacation. Suddenly these same republicans have come down with lock jaw !!! We taxpayers are now paying for the normal presidental security 24/7 for Trump but also 24/7 security for Ivanka and Barron while they live at Trump Tower.

You can't expect them to live there until that smell is gone. It may need to be razed. Such a shame...

Ya think?

The country goes over $1 trillion in debt each year...this is literally...nothing...a drop in an ocean.

And how do you suggest we handle the problem. Do they have less rights to live their life than the rest of us? I think the problem is that security has to (and should) be provided for the family and it the president has a large family or one of older children that have their own life to live it can get expensive for the tax payers. Is the solution to say we only protect the President at the Whitehouse and the President and family are on their own outside of the Whitehouse?

You have a valid and sensible point. However, no matter what Trump will do now, the disgruntled losers will criticize and cry. It's hard to have a discussion when all you can hear is crying and wailing.

Yes, it would be convenient if all of Trump's family were grouped together in one house and they all traveled together. Too bad, they have their own lives and are especially vulnerable to violence thanks to the radical terrorist left.

Hmm, he hasn't obtained a presidential dog yet. Isn't that some unwritten rule that every president has to have a dog?

I was afraid that Obama might eat his dog, since he is known to have eaten dog in his younger years. I bet Michelle would have liked some BBQ Fido ribs. She sure scarfed down some BBQ in NC when they visited and then revisited Ashville.

Not my post but I'd suggest a balanced budget. Right now no one gives a rats ass as bill is being left for our grandchildren.

Ha ha ha...a balanced budget? And WHERE do you suggest we cut over $1 trillion a year?

Welfare takes up about that much...that's my vote.
