Any recommendations for a good gynecologist would be appreciated. I am NOT eligible forThe Villages Health Care, so Dr Steepy is not an option. I am willing to drive to other towns close by i.e. Leesburg, Ocala, even Gainesville if necessary to get a competent doctor.

I am a patient of Dr. Steepy and have been for 8 years and recently had a medical issue that needed tending to right away. I called and they said it would be 6 weeks before I could get in. I have since switched to

Douglas H. Moffet, M.D. - A Lake OB/GYN Associates Physician (http://www.leesburgobgyn.com/douglasmoffett.html)

Like him a lot and was able to get in right away.

I agree with J.N. Have seen Dr. Douglas Moffet for eight years. I imagine all the doctors in that practice are very good.

Unfortunately, I called their office, and they don't take my BlueCross Advantage insurance. This is the first time in 12 years that has happened! I hope more recommendations will be given.
Thank you for your prompt replies.
