Blue Springs! Couple of hundred there when my daughter and I went about 3 week ago. Easy drive, just over an hour to get there. I think entrance was $2 each or $6 for car.

How late do they stay around in the season? Are they still there at the beginning of April?

You can see manatees every day of the year at the Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park in Homosassa, FL, about an hour's drive west of The Villages. It's a real nice state park, with great viewing opportunities, but tends to be very busy this time of year.

was disappointed when i took my niece to Homosassa State Wildlife Park in april as most of the manatees had returned to the warmer waters....they come to the springs when the river waters are cold. so go soon!
