I was under the impression you had to be 14 years old to play golf, 11 with the evaluation and permission of the pro. So why did an 8 or 9 year old kid just come by playing #8 of Egret????

Doubt it. As you can imagine, I'm pretty good at estimating ages.

• Children under the age of 10 wishing to play golf on The Villages golf courses must see one of the team professionals at a championship course for a proficiency approval before playing.
• Spectators under the age of 10 are not permitted

It doesn't say anything about 14 year olds.

You must be 14 to operate a golf cart.......

Is there anything that Bogie doesn't know, or can't look up?

I want to be his campaign manager. I have learned a lot about dirty politics lately. We could win.

My nephew is 8 years old and has attended classes at the Golf Academy. He has a letter certifying that he can golf on the executive courses. We show the letter at the starter shack. BTW he regularly can hit the ball 150 yards at the range.

No problems at all. Mostly entertainment value, life is good:a040::a040::a040:

You must live near there. I used to live on Fairway Drive in Rohnert Park, CA bordering what was called the Mountain Shadows Golf Course. Mountain Shadows Golf Course - CA (http://www.oobgolf.com/courses/course/1265/Mountain_Shadows_Golf_Course.html)

This was near the Red Lion Inn as it was called at that time. Now the Doubletree by Hilton DoubleTree Sonoma Hotel near Santa Rosa, CA (http://doubletree3.hilton.com/en/hotels/california/doubletree-by-hilton-hotel-sonoma-wine-country-RLSC-DT/index.html) There would be movie production trailers there which were about 300 feet from my back door. I would often walk my square cocker spaniel Amber around these hoping to meet some of these movie stars. I do not know if any of these golfed but Sylvester Stallone allegedly snuck into the Red Lion Inn wearing a nun's habit. He was filming this movie then-- Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot (1992) - Rotten Tomatoes (https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/stop_or_my_mom_will_shoot/)
