The house has sold. (We close in less than 2 weeks.)

90 % packed

The mover has been ordered.

A villa has been rented.

We will be there soon.

We're so excited.

We will rent for a few months while we look for a new home.

Excited, excited, excited.

Wow, 47 days is a walk in the park in this real estate climate. I haven't put mine on the market yet. Good Luck.

Congratulations! We close around the end of Aug., have rented a patio villa for 4 months and hope to have a house by the end of that time or decide to have one built. I have started packing slowly, and the POD is being delivered Aug. 5 and picked up Aug. 27th. We're hoping to get rid of a lot of stuff so we won't have too much to move.
We're excited!

Anytime anyone can sell their home in 47 days is a victory compared to us selling in 447 days. OK maybe not that long but close.

We tried that. We are taking 1 and 1/2 rooms out of 7 and will have a lot to throw out when we get there.

Bought a Jasmine II in Bonita. Coming down next week to check on progress. We had a huge yard sale last weekend got rid of a lot of stuff ( polite word ) still can't believe everything you can accumilate in 30years.I know it will be worth every hectic, hellish minute.

Any luck on your house yet?

Nope, nada, zilch Kitty, but very nice of you to ask. I am trying everything, new photos, flyers, open houses etc. etc.
I found out yesterday that I do have one couple interested but he doesnt want all the property I have and wants me to split it up :rant-rave:.
He shouldnt have looked at it, if he didnt want the property and/or taxes or have the moola! :boxing2:
I hear things are picking up, so I am keeping the faith.
I am very very happy for you!!! :coolsmiley:

There is nothing about the peoples republic of Massachusetts that I will miss except family. I am a runaway. You need to get out while you can. Take it all Devalue has plans for you.

We sold our home, drove to Florida, bought a house, became Floridians. All in 14 days. Soon we will have fun.

Take time to breathe, Any person in the brain business will say that what you have done is stressful, (major changes always are, even if they are GOOD changes) so leave the unpacked boxes and go out to dinner or for a swim. You have a long time to get situated.

If I were just there now, I would be making you come over to our house for a nice meal and a feet up on one of my comfy chairs and ottomans. But I am not, sigh.

So take my advice and do some fun things right now, today.

I think he told me Bonita. Question: Is all the new home building just in the new villages? Do they leave any empty lots in older villages or do they just build-out and then go to new villages.
