The Chicago cover group "Beginnings" rocked the Savannah Center again last night. This group is the closest thing to Chicago since, well Chicago. They are spot on with their amazing horn section, keyboard, vocals, and guitars. This is the second time I've seen their performance and they were even better the second time. If you love Chicago music, you owe it to yourself to go see this group when they perform in The Villages.

Anybody else see the show last night?

Yup! I try to never miss them. Great group and the lead singer sounds just like Peter Cetera. If you close your eyes, you would think "Chicago" was up on stage.

Great show as always!

Great music last night at Savannah. I've seen actual Chicago 3 times and last nights music was about as good as the original.

I've always felt there were 2 Chicagos. The first with the horns in the 60's and 70's were great. The later group dominated by Cetera and electronic keyboards were a syrupy, commercial bore.
