I consider this a must-see movie. It is inspirational, moving, heart warming and the story of real-live/life people and relationships. The all-in-one writer/producer/director/musical scorer, Alexander Janko was there and addressed the crowd and answered questions following the movie.

From one promotional piece: Hoping to reclaim who she was before being a wife and mother, an empty nester retreats to Cape Cod where she embarks upon a quest to set herself free.

As most of us know, "real life" is better than fiction.

Currently playing at the Rialto theater in Spanish Springs.

Just see it!

I read the book last summer while vacationing at the Cape. If the movie is half as good as the book it will be very enjoyable. If you enjoy A Year by the Sea, follow her journey with "An Unfinished Marriage", even more interesting and enjoyable.

The author lives in Harwich on the Cape and holds weekly seminars for women.

I've read both books and found them inspirational.
I didn't realize A Year By The Sea had been made into a movie. Ted, thanks for the movie recommendation.

I was at the movie also and what a joy to see an artist share his passion as he did.
I hope he can get funding to make this more for the sake of all involved in the production. He deserves it.
