We need a new gas grill and are considering a Char Broil
Infrared model. Does anyone have one and what is your opinion of them, both good and bad?
Thanks

I had one for a week ! Everything I tried to grill on it came out like rubber. Took it back to Lowes and exchanged it.

Had one and went back to a regular gas grill. I didn't like the amount of cleaning involved in keeping the tiny holes cleared out.

Get a Weber. Mine is over 30 years old and still going strong.

I have one. It works fine, but the bottom rusted out after a year and a half. It's replaceable for about $15 on line. My Weber up north is still going strong after 18 years. (although a Weber is more expensive)

I have one here and one at our place up north. I love it it never flames up and if you control the temp cooks to perfection.

Mine is 5 years old and so far I have not had to replace any parts. I've found the temp hard to control so I've purchased an electronic thermometer that announces "Your entree is ready" when the appropriate temp is reached.

I have one and like it a lot. I lined the bottom with lave rock. Holds the temp. better.
