Could you give us some details of your vision of how these neighborhood gatherings will proceed. Will members bring a wine for tasting and discussion. Will there be a presenter of wines, who will then offer those wines for sale? These two options would be very different.

Wines are not sold or distributed at the wine group monthly tastings. The group host for the month will select the variety of wine to be sampled. Members bring a bottle of their own wine in a brown paper bag. The wine they bring will be the same variety selected by the host, however, their wine can be from any domestic or foreign producer. The wines are judged by the members and a score of 1-5 is given on each bottle available for tasting. After all wines have been sampled by the group, the paper bags are removed to determine the order of preference. The host will provide a snack and/or desert plus coffee. The host may suggest a game, karaoke or other social activity to complete the evening. It is a fun social event between friends or neighbors.
