Fort Island Gulf Beach

Grandkids coming and we want to take them to a beach near TV.
Anyone been to Fort Island Beach?

The beach is ok and there are places to walk. The gulf bottom is fairly muddy but my grandkids liked it.

Not in the top ten beaches but a very nice sandy gulf beach about a hundred yards deep by 4 hundred yards wide with showers and restrooms. Has good parking and a good size fishing pier adjacent to it.

Kids should like it (and older kids too)
