Is anyone else getting the annoying pop-up asking for permission to "open an app on your computer?"

This is appearing multiple times per session and appears to be related to the ads on the site.

I am using IE11, have not tried another browser yet.

I have sent a note to the ADMIN on this, have not heard anything back yet.

I get one of those when I'm in "the other news" link. It's always a video too. Irritating!!!

No pop-ups here. I don't think it's a TOTV problem.

It appears that I have setup higher security features on my PC, and these are flagging the ads at the top of the home screen, guess I will have to live with this. I am not interested in lowering the security on my PC.

Wow. I turned off AdBlock Plus and this is a very different website.

uBlock Origin and Google Chrome means no popups here. Don't forget that MS is not working hard on IE11 in favor Edge.

Update on the problem. My previous post was wrong, Ad BLOCKER did not stop the problem, it was back the next day, but has been getting less and less. Yesterday and today, no problems. An email to ToTV got the reply that this was a problem on my PC and my browser, however, it seems strange that these slowly went away with out me doing anything.....
Probably going to leave AD Blocker on.
I will look at Edge again, don't like Chrome too many other problems, like crashes, then it is very hard to uninstall and reinstall, have not tied any of the others. Thank you for all the replies.

Finally found the solution, for any of you using IE11, and getting the pop-up asking permission to run an app, go to tools, and enable blocking of active X filtering. This seems to speed up the site and stop the problems with the ads. I am guessing this got turned off during a recent Windows update....
