Thought it appropriate to post some thoughtful quotes. I wish each and everyone the happiest of days today, tomorrow, and beyond.

“Happiness depends upon ourselves.”
Aristotle

“Happiness is not something ready-made. It comes from your own actions.”
Dalai Lama

“Most people would rather be certain they’re miserable, than risk being happy.”
Dr. Robert Anthony

“Enjoy your own life without comparing it with that of another.”
Marquis de Condorcet

“Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.”
Abraham Lincoln

“Being happy doesn’t mean everything is perfect. It means you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections.”
Unknown

“Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go”
Oscar Wilde

I have an abundance of happiness, but joy eludes me.

We watched it for the first time tonight and I don't know what we were expecting but it was so good and so happy making. Steve Harvey is very, VERY, good with kids, in fact with all people. The kids were talented and charming and nothing was overdone. He is so genuine and the show so well done that we all felt as if we had a heartwarming experience. We laughed out loud and never at the expense of the kids.

It was WONDERFUL. We all need a little more happy than the world has been dishing out lately.

Happiness is a glass half full, whist a glass half empty is sadness.

"To the preacher
It's a prayer, prayer, prayer
To the Beatles
It's a "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah"
To the golfer
It's a hole in one
To the father
It's a brand new son

To the beatnik
It's his beard, beard, beard
To the monster
Something wierd, wierd, wierd
To a night owl
It's a good days sleep
To the Yankee's
It's a four game sweep

On the desert
It's a drink, drink, drink
To the show girl
It's a mink, mink, mink
To the banker
Lots and lots of dough
To a racer
It's a GTO

To a sailor
It's the sea, sea, sea
To my mother
Why, it's me, me, me
To the birdies
It's the sky above
But, to my mind
It's the one I love

Happiness is
Happiness is
Happiness is
Different things to different people
That's what happiness is
Happiness is!"

Song and lyrics by Paul Parnes and Paul Evans, 1957

'Happiness' basically boils down to 'attitude.'

If you wake every day with the thought that it is good to be alive and any problems/issues that might occur during the day, are simply challenges that represent an opportunity to turn a negative into a positive...each day then becomes a chance to become even happier.
