I'm in the process of getting signed up to volunteer at the hospital. What other volunteer opportunities are within TV or Lady Lake? Have don't Operation Shoebox in the past but they have "too many" volunteers now.

Volunteer opportunities are everywhere. Have you ever thought of the Lions Club? We need volunteers and are a nice friendly bunch. Call Judy at 734-625-2747 if you are interested in more information.

Rec centers need teachers to teach art and crafts and music. They are not paid. They are all volunteers.
Schools need tutors, you must pass a background check and have some health tests and be properly vetted.
St. Vincent De Paul society is a wonderful charity group that needs volunteers. Any pastor or priest can give you a list of people who could use a little carpentry or painting work around their home. Deserving people who can't get around like they used to.
Lots of things to do. Bless you for doing any of them.

At the Lady Lake Driving Range, next to THE VILLAGES, we are all volunteers make hundred of thousands for local charities. You can sell buckets of balls, drive the ball pickers or do maintenance on the machines and grounds. Because of insurance, only members of the Orange Blossom Lions or The 347 post American Legion can apply.
