PSA... Copied from another group.

The Key Lime Pie King will be on Micro Racetrack Road on Friday 3/24 from 11 am until..... Last time he sold over 100 pies in 50 min.

You know he won't let you buy them until you try them!
Don't miss out on this great taste experience!!!! Get there early!
Micro Racetrack road is off of 466A.... About halfway down the road.

$20 for a pie and worth it.

If you have bought one of his pies and like them... Post in the comments so other can see!

Key lime pies are easy, easy to make. Get Nellie & Joe's key lime juice at publix, receipe on back. Make it for less than $5 bucks.

If you can make Key Lime Pies like he can.. I'm all for you! I hate Key Lime Pie and I love his pies

If you can make them like he does... Let me know and I will let everyone know where you are selling them.

He can't keep up with the demand... He could use your help!

Publix Key Lime Pies (original) are better. The best are from Joe's Stone Crab on Miami Beach ( no, that is NOT Joe's Crab Shack).

Well, then, I guess you should spend the $20...

Laker, first recipe is best, in my opinion. Beat egg yokes until fluffy and pale in color. If you want a key lime cheesecake...add another block of cheese, bake 30/40 min. Also, add some UNSWEETEned coconut if you like. Always take to someone's house, to tempting to eat to much.

Does pie king have a health permit to sell perishable food, in Florida, on the side of the road? I doubt it.

Yes, he does have health permits.

If people in this group aren't interested, and it appears they arent, I won't post in here again.

I was under the impression people wanted to know.

Have a great day.

Keep posting. Opinions are like booties, everyone has one and most stink. His pies are ok but real key lime pies are more tart than his.

Please keep posting. His pies are great, especially right out of the freezer. There will always be naysayers.

Thank you... all I was getting was push back. I don't get paid or have any interest in this guy. I post only so that people will know when he is here. I post for the people who want to buy his pies.

I don't buy them every time he comes. But if I didn't know when he is here, it would be hit or miss and mostly miss.

I have another group I post to and I know that others post for him as well, so posting here isn't for him as it is for you.

Yes, I know you Can make your own pie...yes I know they are usually more tart than how he makes them. Yes I know they they are cheaper somewhere else

I don't like Key Lime pie. His key lime pies are the only ones I like, and I don't mind spending the money for what I like.

We have been buying his key lime pies for years....and will continue as long as he sells them. Everyone has different taste so if you don't like them or don't want to spend $20 for a pie, well then just drive on by....we stop almost every time we see his truck....as do most of our friends and neighbors.

If you would, please continue to post. Presently, I'm not in TV. Once I return, I intend to cross things off my list, that being a trip to the Key Lime Pie King and getting in line for my pie. I appreciate learning that he exists and am always game for trying something new. There must be something to his pies if they always sell out. As for the negative posters... No pie for you!

Thank you angiefox!

I fail to see any negativity in passing on the information that key lime pies are easy to make, and providing recipes. Certainly, nobody said you shouldn't buy one if that's what you want to do.

Everybody's taste buds are different. Personally I prefer Edwards key lime pies sold in the supermarket freezer section - surprisingly good tasting

I hear you. One of the fun things about making something like that is tweaking the recipe until you get what you like. Of course, I never write anything down, so I can never remember what I tweaked.

I do that a lot with chili, BBQ sauce, BBQ rubs..."man that was good...uh....how did I make it?"

Tried in once, kinda expensive and not worth going out of my way or waiting on line for. But I'm not a foodie so there ya go.

This is why there are 100's of contractors here gouging the heck out of Villagers. When you see 1000 people line up to pay $20 for a pie, you know it's a goldmine.
