Hi,
I'm renting a house for 5 days from April 28 through May 3 and would like to do at least some biking most days. Is there somewhere , some way, somehow that I can get access to two decent hybrid or road bikes? I'm willing to pay a reasonable fee for the use. There's also the issue of 'getting' them since I'll only have a rental car without a bike rack. I'm looking forward to seeing the Villages and all it has to offer and would like to do some of it on two wheels. Even if you might only have one bike, maybe there are a couple of people who can help me out. Any thoughts or recommendations will be appreciated. Thanks.

You didn't say where you would be renting in TV, it's 15 miles from the bottom to the top. In the newer areas Villages Cycles at Brownwood, located between MVP Gym and McAlister's Deli rents bikes. They also have a Spanish Springs location in the Belk's Shopping Center off of Bichara. If you're in the very northern ends such as Chatham or Calumet Grove, best bet would be to park your car at the Belk's shopping center and rent from that location. Here's a link to their website.

Hi, we rented twice from Wildwood Cycles, in the paper and phone book, very reasonable and prompt, They bring the bikes out and also pick them up. We rented once from Village Cycles in Spanish Springs and they are so scattered, could not rely on them or their word, they were very unreliable, we would not deal with them again.

bbbbbb Good luck and be very careful, lots of weird cars and carts around.

I think if you Google bike rentals you will find what you are looking for.
