Has anyone had a replacement American Standard AC installed by Chuck Farrell . I was wondering what they think of this brand of AC and if anyone has any issues. When reviewing the Brand of AC on Goggle I have not seen very many favor able comments. So if you have had one installed I would like to hear your comments on this brand unit

I have not but, I 100% trust Chuck Farrell & his opinion. I find it hard to believe that Chuck would install anything but reputable/ quality merchandise. Just offering my opinion.

Are there any brands that get a good review now?
My Reem is going strong at 22 yrs old.
Will be lucky to get 10 yrs, on a new one.

Trane and American Standard are identical. They roll down the assembly line together. Both are made by Ingersoll Rand.

All brands are good. It's the installation that will make the difference between lasting 10 years or 22. Assuming they are maintained properly.

Chuck Farrell installed an American Standard, (Trane), A/C in February. Although it has only been a month the unit was installed and works perfectly. They do excellent work! Chuck Farrell has done worked for me before and found his service and prices to be very reasonable and they do quality work. They are not a big company and do not the corresponding overhead. I trust Chuck.

One year warranty on parts and labor and 10 year warranty on parts for the unit itself.

In this case I would not rely on the gripes of a few consumer as there are always a few that will complain about anything. You can always do a search and see how American Standard/Trane are rated.

BTW - I saved $1500 with Chuck Farrell's A/C. My neighbor used Sunshine and paid $1500 more and got a smaller and less efficiently rated A/C unit. You also get a $500 rebate from TECO.

I had Chuck install ours, including heater for a better price than what others wanted just for the air. Unit has been in now for about three years, no problems at all. His workers were on time and very professional. What else could you ask for?

Believe me, not like a lot of other irritating HVAC phone solicitors who just nickel and dime you for a few thousand more of "must haves"
