At a White House ceremony yesterday to sign a couple of Executive Orders on trade, So-Called President Trump was asked a question from a reporter regarding Mike Flynn. Without his scriptwriters, the So-Called President did not know how to respond. He just left the room without saying a word, leaving Pence standing there to collect the unsigned documents.

That is the action of a child - not the President of the USA.

Even he knows that he's created a spider web of deceit, that he can't use his typical business bullying...to get out of.

"The leader has to be practical and a realist, yet must talk the language of the visionary and the idealist."

Most people can do this better than Trump, but it is the policies that he extols that matter more than his behavior to the people who voted for him.

Most people who voted for him wanted to be sure that Terrorists just couldn't move into this country and that we would suffer the fate of U.K. Germany, France, Italy.

Most Trump voters didn't want to spend money on controversial social programs.

Many people who voted for him didn't want to move more to the left in political philosophy and MANY didn't want to move more to the right.

Many wanted a relief from the far left philosophy that we were enduring for the last eight years, but we didn't want a far right philosophy either. Trump was a wild card.

And he is wild at times. Many of us who voted for him hope for the best.

BUT. He is still better than the other choice.

Gracie, to be honest...the Eric Hoffer quote you began with does not apply in anyway shape or form.

The Trump campaign was totally and completely based on hate. It may have been hate for the left, or whatever group you choose to note, but based entirely n hate.

His rallies did not much mention policies...just hate.

As to policies...he is retracting what he said about NAFTA, and is now embracing the same policy as Obama...he is reversing what he said on Assad in Syria, etc.

His campaign played on your fear and hate for others.

Example....A number of candidates had plans for strengthening our borders...fact is Sen Rubio was working on a bipartisan effort to do that, and that included ohysical barriers, difference is he was doing it like an adult. Trump got your attention by scaring you with the rapists, etc and building a wall which Mexico will pay for. Guess what...Trump played you. He spoke nast crap about NAFTA and now is embracing the Obama way.

Trump nevere ver told you how we vetted and how strict we were...nope, he scared you, played on your fear...he never told you how the war on ISIS was going...just scared you, then when he banned countries, he skipped the country with the most Muslims and the most terror...Turkey. Gee, his new business there...no, couldn't be. He issued a ban while we supposedly are reviewing vetting...come on.

No, his campaign was based on hacked emails, hate for Clinton so it is difficult for me to acccept "visionary and idealist". I can say with zero fear of contradiction....Trump is NO idealist and NO visionary.

If fear and hate are your choice you got it. Please do not blame the crumbling Presidency and scandals on anybody but Trump.

Let's just pray we don't have a REAL national emergency in the next 4 years. This bickering will come to abrupt stop as we all have too much to loose not knowing who's in or not in control. In Vietnam, the grunts knew how to solve such a problem.

A big percentage of Trump voters heard their own hate/anger/racism/bigotry/misogyny expressed publicly...then touted those disgusting views by saying that Chump wasn't a 'typical politician.'

What those same people never even bothered to ask or address, is that Trump's entire life's history was rife with the behavior and actions...that is antithetical to what they professed to admire and emulate.

It simply boils down to the fact that Trump's narrow electoral win, while losing the popular vote, is owed to those who really wanted to "Make America White Again" and who, by your OWN admission above...hated Hillary more than they love this country. :ohdear:

Read my post carefully and you will see that I said that the people voting for Trump, many/ most of them weren't crazy about his demeanor, his attitude, his inability to communicate well.

They voted for the policies, not the man. You got all het up and started telling me why you hated Donald Trump. I was saying that many of us were sick of politics in general and felt more confidant with a business man. I didn't say I liked him, I just said that is how I thought a lot of people felt.

Stand down.

I don't take well to be ordered to "stand down"

I will make this simple. I, as well as thousands of others tried to tell you that the man is a liar and a master con artist. In this case, those two traits alone should have told you....he is not what he is telling you. Why would you believe his "policies" and his policies were ..."lock her up"....."build a wall and Mexico pays" neither of which is ever going to happen.

Again, he played on your fear and hate...he is still ciponning you and is well into the process of totally destroying the US presidency.

By the way..liking is not the issue.

Are you telling me that a man who has never ever even gotten close to doing even one thing for his country for 70 years, and who for those 70 years stood for lying, corruption, conspiracy theories and as all his biographers said..creating false realities AND names, did not even understand what policies the country had convinced you on his "policies" which by the way changed totally ?

See, I think not. I think you liked the loud obscene chanting about "locking", calling everyone crooks, hearing Judges defamed, etc. THAT is what sold you.

This thread is about Trump.

I think you and Gracie will agree that hi jacking threads to continue to spread hate against YOUR chosen enemy is not right.

Ignoring reality, spreading more hate, condemning half the country is not a good path to be in.

Your twisting of threads to simply tell us how you hate 1/2 your fellow Americans, how you feel the existing President is NOT a liar, how you feel that what YOU say is gospel is getting old.

No problem.

As you may recall from the original forum, I am well aware of Alinsky, and might add that an adversary of mine (and I assumeyours) used to say how both parties use his methods.

I now can tell you, he was correct...they both do. It is difficult to tell if you are using it, but easy to recognize when you see it coming at you.

Recently I have found on here and elsewhere, to simply reply right away, with no fault. Unless, some research is required of course.

Wow, some few of you are really stubbornly in denial. You lost, get over it. Trump's campaign should be studied instead of vilified. But, the left is too naive and stupid to understand that. He was told that he was going to lose and he refused to listen. Now, he is doing an excellent job and all you have to complain about is what he might have said last night on a tweet. Or, you attack his family. His daughter is attacked and Hillary the felon's daughter is celebrated. Go figure. You libtards are too stupid to even be ashamed of your immature attacks. Don't you even realize that you are not getting any of George Soros' stash that he is passing around to perpetrate dissension and violence? Someone else is getting it. Oh well, if you stubbornly wish to stay in the dark and in the gutter, than so be it. You will still benefit from Trump's restoration of America's great power and image that's been tarnished by the former Obama administration that was intent on demoralizing our fellow citizens and pitting them against each other under the guise of racism, bigotry, gender isolation and religious attacks. Trump may seem coarse and harsh but he is an American and believes in America First. That is called patriotism, less you forget. Trump is the nasty tasting medicine that is good for you, and Obama was nothing more than a polished but rotted piece of fruit that contaminated the rest of the fruit in the barrel. I almost said that he was nothing more than a polished turd, but that is a bit harsh.

Hey, I just found out this morning on TOTV that ALL the nations problems are the fault of progressives or anyone opposed to Trump.

Do not despair, once we rid the country of those opposed to Trump, we will be fine.

Trump will determine the correct pecking order and tweet what to do.

I am thankful, however that I am white, old and male. I understand that gives me an advantage.

I learned on TOTV that progressives are ruining the world.

Just think...one single political theory...no debate....just simply log into Twitter. HE will tell us who to hate.

Just stay tuned as to all the bad things progressives are making up about Trump. It is them and the media that our President he enemies of the country. Once we rid this country of debate and get on board...hey, can we ban any progressive thought ?

You SHOULD have found out LONG ago...that most of the nations problems are the fault of black and brown people. Where black and brown people live...there are problems...where white people live...there are FAR fewer. That's just a fact of life.

Unfortunately, we are not ridding the nations of them...they are becoming the majority. It WILL be our downfall.

It DOES give you an advantage. Over THEM but not between other qualified candidates. You have an intellectual and emotional advantage over 99% of minorities...just by being an average white man. WHY do you think they NEED quotas? The NBA/NFL don't need quotas, WHY? Why is it only in intellectual endeavors that they MUST have quotas to have ANY representation. The token black. There to take up space, to comply with the quota system. They are not us...not biologically, not by sight, smell, NOTHING say's they're "the same as us" but the law. We are literally different species. You "can't" make a dog a cat by writing a law that says it is. You can call it a cat all day long...it's still a dog.

Progressive attitudes of equality no matter the cost to society...IS ruining the world. Thanks to their generous welfare and save everyone at any cost policies, the world is 80% poor living on less than $10 a day. THAT...the POOR population...it the population that is growing.

"The world population more than tripled during the 20th century from about 1.65 billion in 1900 to 5.97 billion in 1999"

"Currently, population growth is fastest among low wealth, Third World countries"

"The UN projects a world population of 9.15 billion in 2050, which is a 32.69% increase from 2010 (6.89 billion)"

"Since 1800, the human population has increased from one billion[13] to over seven billion"

"Historical migration of human populations begins with the movement of Homo erectus out of Africa across Eurasia about a million years ago. Homo sapiens appear to have occupied all of Africa about 150,000 years ago, moved out of Africa 50,000 - 60,000 years ago"

We hybridized with another branch of Homo Erectus...Neanderthals. The African negroids did not. We ARE different species.

Let's allow thought for a bit that you are right, that some races show strengths in some areas and weaknesses in others. So...how shall we deal with that if it is in fact the truth? Should we do like they did in Greece long ago with the weak or deformed being left on hillsides to die? Or should we try to understand and help. Or should we decide like Hitler to kill those who don't measure up to certain standards?

I know what I would do. What would you do other than to hate and be critical and superior?

I am right.

I don't know Gracie...how do we treat the other species we share the planet with? We use them to our advantage.

See there you go again...assuming they are the same as us. A better analogy is how do various zookeepers and game preserve managers treat their guests.

I only hate their actions...how they act...what they do to a school, neighborhood, town, city, country, continent, and soon the world.

You agree with how the 99% of blacks who live in the inner cities act? You frequent MLK Blvd? And you approve? You don't ever criticize others? You've criticized me and I've only disagreed with you via correspondence. You don't criticize inner city "thugdom?

What would you do Gracie? I'd like to hear your solution. And we need it quick...they're already the majority.
