How close is the prison to Fenny? Looks like it is just next door. A true gated community.

Whitey is not an inmate, he's just a temporary tenant until the Winter Hill Gang reforms in Southie and breaks Whitey out. [emoji599][emoji33]

theres a grouping of trees south Fenny, the prison backs up to them.
At night when we pass by 501 in the evenings, the skys are lit up with all the lights and the sky guard towers can be seen clearly from the road.
So I can only imagine how it will look from those homes that back up to the tree'd area.
location is everything.....but maybe the lot prices will be very low....who knows...

I find that most of my neighbors fail to realize how close it is to TV. Doesn't bother me but there are four separate prisons on the grounds.

Hope this link works. If not just use Google maps and type in Coleman Correction Complex. Zoom in and see the "prison" with 6 basketball courts, 2 tennis courts, 4 ball fields, 6 handball courts, a soccer field, and last but not least, a beach volleyball court. Probably has a better indoor gym setup than MVP????
Our tax dollars at work for some of the baddest dudes in the country. If you do a search you can see who's there.

Where is 501?
501 is the road you pass when you are traveling on 468 (morse) when you pass 44.....south of the new proposed turnpike entrance.
according to the plans that were shown by another poster, a stop light will soon be placed at that intersection.
The new southern villages? development will cross 501 from fenny.
the prison fronts 470 and 501.

Wonder where the "adjacent minimum security satellite camp" is referred to one their website? I was under the impression that all of Coleman is maximum security.

I wonder if a new inmate there would get free hearing aids, free cataract operations, help with plantar fasciitis, free healthcare, free meals, exercise on a walking track, weight lifting, a little part time job and air conditioning that works well? Why do you never hear about anyone breaking out of this jail? Maybe the high profile man from South Of The Border, and I don't mean the mouse should be stationed at Coleman. He may Decide to stay and it's harder to tunnel under sand.
If I was going to buy at Fenney having Coleman there would not worry me one bit, it's a non issue. We lived near Rahway Prison for a lifetime and it was a big ZERO. No big deal.
I'm getting used to it, anytime something new happens around TV rite away the conspiracy theorists start it just seems that a few people spread negativity and see the bad side of everything. I made my 5 year old grandson pass milk thru his nose because he thought it was so funny when I told him to stop doing peeps in my Cheerios. Same thing here how about some positive posts for a day or two.
There are a whole lot of interesting things about Coleman that have been revealed. Thank You for that info.

From a marketing standpoint, just think - TV can promote Fenney by noting Whitey Bulger is one of the original residents.
