Since Trump has changed do his followers now accept the Obama policy that he does ?

"Conservatives who excoriated President Barack Obama for acquiescence to genocide in Syria should be just as vocal when it comes to the Trump administration. Indeed, the Trump administration seems to have thrown in the towel entirely on seeking to oust Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, thereby consenting to Iran’s effective domination of the country and to Russia’s success in defending its allies Iran and Syria.

On Thursday, both Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, let it be known that the United States no longer seeks Assad’s ouster"

Like said before, and reiterate, you leftards should be encouraged and endorse Trump since he is more in concert with the Democrat ideology than conservative. Thanks for presenting proof of my past statements. :clap2:

We missed a chance to publicly admonish all the civil rights, ie. Killing of civilians yesterday with Egypt,.....how do we handle this since we now support Assad ?

"A suspected gas attack, believed to be by Syrian government jets, killed at least 58 people including 11 children under the age of eight in the northwestern province of Idlib on Tuesday, a war monitor and medical workers in the rebel-held area said.

A Syrian military source strongly denied the army had used any such weapons.

The attack caused many people to choke or faint, and some had foam coming out of their mouths, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, citing medical sources who described it as a sign of a gas attack."

This is about Egypt, and why he has been not welcome before this week.

"Most sources agree that Egypt is a gross violator of human rights. Authorities have effectively banned protests and freedom of expression, imprisoned its opponents, usually after unfair trials, outlawed the Muslim Brotherhood, and expanded its anti-terrorism powers. Torture, enforced disappearances, and deaths in custody are not rare occurrences. The government continues to persecute NGOs and journalists. Women and members of religious minorities are subject to discrimination. People are arrested for “debauchery” and sexual orientation."

Trump's love of thug dictators is scary.
Yes, it's terrible the way he supports Hailemariam Desalegn, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Hun Sen, Hassanal Bolkiah, Najib Razak, Prayuth Chan-ocha, Che Guevara, Raul Castro, Fidel Castro, José Manuel Zelaya, Mohammed Morsi, Mohamed Kamel Amr, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Hassan Rouhani, Hugo Chavez, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, Yahya Jammeh, Paul Biya, and The Muslim Brotherhood.

I have the rep for not trusting or respecting our President..that's fine, but in this case this is policy.

First, as never before, we as Americans really have no idea what our foreign policy is. That, as I understand it, is on purpose. Not sure I understand that at all, but it is what it is.

What has got my eye here is the very cold, in my opinion, greeting the head of state of Germany received. The lack of a handshake, whether on purpose it not, and the public criticism of Merkel.

That as opposed to many hand shakes, loud praise for a leader that is internationally know for abuse.

Syria, in general, is on Obam's hands, but as much as we think that America stands alone and we think that we can simply heed only our interests, I strongly disagree. The world looks to us for leadership, and failure to condemn publicly, to me, is unamerican.

We lack now even a state Department to speak out. We sanctioned Syria in Jan for use of chemicals, and have since said we will support Assad presidency, so looking to hear our response to this.

We can believe that we can stop the world from shrinking, but we cannot simply look away.

Birds of a feather you know...

Did you think you were getting Jesus? Oh no...we get the other guy. Hillary would have been NO different.

The "policy" is what it's always been...Empire. Keep expanding the empire. Keep the empire in power. Presidents don't change that.

Mr T showing Merkel he's the "boss" now...no more "Mr" Feminine..."respect my authority!" Merkel has destroyed Germany and much of Europe with the Muslim invasion over there. Same thing that happened here, they're doing over there. Uncontrolled 3rd world immigration. Million of them. They're destroying Europe and Merkel is behind it. For some reason, white's are being eliminated.

America is a empire...not much different from Rome. It WILL meet the same fate...and it will take about a hundred years to fall. It's destruction began in the 1960s when the barbarian invasion started. Just as with Rome, they slowly moved from the edges into the center, slowly displacing the Roman people, slowly gaining political clout because of their numbers...eventually diluting the population to the point where they pretty much just took over. It was the beginning of the Dark Ages. Yes, we will have another Dark Ages as the 3rd worlders take over.

They want it shrunken...EVERYONE a customer...and free access to raw materials...throughout the world.

Perhaps you missed this dramatic change in policy ref Syria..

"The United States' diplomatic policy on Syria for now is no longer focused on making the war-torn country's president, Bashar al-Assad, leave power, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations said on Thursday, in a departure from the Obama administration's initial and public stance on Assad's fate.

The view of the Trump administration is also at odds with European powers, who insist Assad must step down. The shift drew a strong rebuke from at least two Republican senators."

The administration is blaming Obama.

""Today's attack is reprehensible and cannot be ignored by the civilized world," Spicer told reporters. "These heinous actions by the Bashar al Assad regime are a consequence of the past administration's weakness and irresolution. President Obama said in 2012 that he'd establish a red line against the use of chemical weapons and then did nothing. The US stands with our allies across the globe to condemn this intolerable act."

Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who was meeting with King Abdullah II of Jordan at the Department of State, ignored questions from reporters about the alleged chemical attack."

Nobody blamed Trump.....why can you not criticize without bringing in the politics ?

I mentioned that the increase in Syria gave Russia the entryway into Syria, and now we seem to back both of them.

I even can support what he is saying but adding those remarks to this terrible tragedy is a bit confusing.

"Asked if the Trump administration would draw another red line, Spicer said, ”I’m not ready to talk about our next step, but we will get there soon.”

That will be hairy. Iran, Russia, North Korea, Hezbollah, Iraq, to name a few also support Assad. They are in the area also. Not a place for a lot of military action i would think
