At this point in the Trump Presidency he has little effect on the jobs report, although the numbers for March were down. Like any corporate takeover as the firing and not hiring of new employees in government occurs the jobs numbers will change. The Villages will probably be affected once the cutback hits social security and Medicare offices. Then a temp agency can come in and fill the positions with minimum wage earners. After taking about 30% off the top for management fees.
